Indescribably Life Changing 🙏🙏🙏

Metl Wolf on

Since the early times of Access to Insight, Ajahn Thānissaro Bhikkhu has had an indescribable impact on my life in transmitting the teachings of Early Buddhism. I am forever grateful to his dedication to the actual teachings of the Lord Buddha. Words can hardly express his genuinely life changing English translations of the Pāli Cannon found in this app and on the website Dhammatalks.org, yet he consistently finds the words to do just that in his daily Dhamma Talks. I have been inspired so greatly I give donations whenever possible but I feel nothing can ever repay the generosity he shows in making these teachings available to a Lay Buddhist like myself. I am forever indebted to his sincere generosity for helping a common person like myself. I hope to one day be blessed enough to have the opportunity to ordain but must first work to pay off my financial debts. In the mean time I keep the Five Precepts and as many others as possible and try to practice the teachings to the fullest extent I can as a Lay Buddhist. Many thanks and many blessings to him, Wat Metta, and to anyone involved in the making and daily upkeep of the website and app. I am forever inspired and grateful to all of you 🙏🙏🙏

A Wonderful Gift & Great App

The lectures recorded by Thanassu Biku are a wonderful gift to the world and a great resource for any Buddhist. I love the way the app is organized, especially when you are starting out and trying to understand the fundamental principals. Really helped me orient myself. I will forever be grateful to Thanassu for this incredible gift he has given the world, completely free!

Very well done. Thank you for the helpful offering! I’ve found it does everything I need, nothing I don’t.

Wonderful app

This is a wonderful and useful app. Thank you so much for creating this! Definitely beats downloading the mp3 files and managing them locally. A small enhancing feature request I have is the ability to "Add to Queue" and Repeat talks. For example to add to queue a Dhamma talk, followed by a chanting and then a guided meditation world be fantastic.

so happy I found this

I’ve been paying for YouTube for years solely to listen to Thanissaro Bhikkhu’s talks. I haven’t found anyone else yet that I understand as well or enjoy the voice of as much, but he has so many talks (that I listen to more than one) I have been sustained for a long time. Eventually I’ll branch out. Anyway, this app makes it easy to go through these particular talks like a catalogue. This. is. awesome.

Excellent!

The app is a great resource for listening to Ajahn Geoff’s talks. One minor issue: There is a typo in the Pali Chanting section. The first chant says Venetration but it should be Veneration. Also, after going to an individual talk, there doesn’t seem to be any way to get back to the menu.
