Great game, horrible UI
First, the game mechanics are definitely fun. I like the combination of dice and cards. Graphics and sound could be better, but for a one man project, they're understandable and decent enough. The main issue is the interface. Game elements bleed off the edge of the screen, the notch/island covers up information (and screen rotation isn't an option), the tutorial is not all given at the beginning (like you don't get an explanation of your inventory until after you return to the menu and earn a free card) and also doesn't explain everything (like how the shield card works - the word "odd" on the card isn't self explanatory), and I absolutely HATE when games force me to take actions, especially when it involves forcing me to play - I want to be able to explore the menus and other elements before/while I play. SHOW me how to play, don't force it. Finally, I realize this is a ftp game, but there are WAY too many forced ads. Also, I only see one purchase from the store that gets rid of ads, and that's a sale (Rookie pack) - is that a temporary sale? If it goes away, how else do i get rid of ads? ANY purchase really should get rid of ads, or at least any purchase at a certain price or higher (and make that clear to the buyer).
Great Game
Game is fun, challenging, and ever changing- as you can change the way you play each level based on what upgrades you want to use. Highly recommend.
Broken IPhone interface
Cool concept. Currently has game breaking glitch on iPhone that freezes the game when swiping from the bottom to move dice and accidentally adjusting the app window through iOS interface. Will update review when fixed.
Really enjoying the game so far
Game is lots of fun. Definitely worth the $2 to remove the ads. Wish there was a little more info on some of the skills/talents. I would like more tool tips available with regards to if getting talents such as life steal works with all cards or if it only increases it if cards already have it natively. I couldn’t find anything on the internet, would love to see a discord with more info or a place to ask questions. Trial and error isn’t my favorite way to learn a game. Still 5 stars for originality and fun
Great game just a little rough around the edges
Love the gameplay and the flow definitely will keep playing i just encounter bugs every now and again the most obvious of which are hit boxes on the walls and spikes and the card feast despite saying it does 6 damage and drains 2 health only drains the health doesnt do the additional 6 damage
