It’s just a superb companion for learning a language, I especially find the translated phrases and colloquialisms helpful. A very small suggestion is that some added verb conjugation information would be useful, but you can get that elsewhere so it’s not a huge issue

I use this every single day and it is just perfect. Fast, you can use all the data offline. The only thing I would add is the phonetics as it helps me in situations without headphones to read the word and knowing how to pronounce it. As I don’t like to get the audio when I am in public without headphones.

Great breadth of vocab (I use for German-English)! However, the app is always playing audio whenever I switch between apps. Also, it would be great to have the ability to save words to a favourites list, as it would be beneficial for vocab building.

I am on a exchange right now and I looked for a dictionary, that helps me through that time. What I love about this is, that you can use many language packages, and different amount of words. It is great for every day words. For very specific words you need to search in the internet and you need to know the infinitive of the Latin word, but the rest is geat;)

I personally use dict.cc+ instead of dict.cc; it doesn't have that many extra features but it removes the advertisements and additionally since I never click on the advertisements I was worried the developers of this amazing app would not get the cash they deserve from me if I did not purchase the paid version. And they do deserve it. This is a fast, smart, stable app, with a really good built in dictionary (english-german is best but ti does italian, swedish, spanish..) that works on and offline. Absolutely top notch app, and unlike many of its peers, the underlying database is a living, breathing, collaboratively edit dictionary with frequent updates and improvements. The app is great, and the underlying collaborative database deserves the support that this ticket price of this app provides, just as much as you deserve a simple and easy dictionary app. Well done. One thing to be aware of: The app ships WITHOUT a dictionary database installed - it downloads the relevant database when you fire it up the first time. So, don't just install the app and then leave the country only to find out you have to download the database on global roam in the airport when you arrive.

I agree with willi. After the update nothing is like it was before. Poor vocabulary, download doesnt work either and irritating ads. Absolut downgrade and no improvements. Have to look for another app now for the time being :(.

Great, accurate translations accessible offline. Came in real handy when I was in Germany and didn't have mobile data!
