Amazing

As a teacher of English, I often use this app to help me when in doubt, but also to learn new things. I recommend it to students all the time.

What good is this dictionary?

You just lost that 5 stars of liking your dictionary! I couldn’t get past the frozen screen Dumb

A solid resource

Software is solid and a daily source of information for me and my personal inquiry. The major drawback is the Dev wants to be cool or popular more than the Dev wants to become a Legend in at least two senses of the word I am aware of. The truth in my statement remains occulted from those who are unaffected by the Dev’s modus operandi: essentially everyone inside of the mainstream psychological thought paradigm of patterns. Please correct my grammar wherever possible or appropriate.

Update

Told them it stopped working and they fixed it for me. This is a good dictionary. However I would not recommend for children because there are adult themes in the dictionary that I don’t believe need to be there. Do not use for children.

Coming up blank

In the last couple of weeks I will look up even a common word, and it comes up blank. I've been using this app for probably.. 8 years +/- and it has always worked well. So don't know what's happening as of late , but Im thinking of switching as it's become less reliable.

What’s up

I’ve had this app for years. Worked well until last week. Now it tells me it can’t find any word, not even the simplest. I went in to App Store and downloaded a new version. Still nothing.

Stopped working August 2024

No longer finds definitions for over 60% of the words I submit. No statement from devs. Reddit says it’s a dead app.

Great app until recently

Suddenly stopped working. Selecting a word used to show 5e definition. Now, there is a message stating no definition found. Not sure if the app is still being supported.

Suddenly not working, for a while

Update 08/19/24: Still not working and still no response from Dictionary.com —— Original review: 100% of words searched display this notice: "No results found for now" I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. That doesn't fix the problem. Has been a quality app. What's happening? I posted this review on August 8, 2024.
