The best dictionary app I've tried. It works offline for common words and online for just about anything. So easy to have on your phone for a quick check whilst shopping etc. Highly recommended

Offline this provides a simple look up dictionary. While online, you can throw whole phrases at it to translate. When you look up a word it gives you a dozen or so sentences with the word in context, in both English and French, which often includes something close to what you're trying to say. I also bought a phrase book, but this is superior in every way. Ideal for those with a little bit of French, but never the crucial word at the right time. Highly recommended. Outstanding that this is available for free. After a couple of days I paid for the ad free version on principle. The ads aren't intrusive though, so it's totally usable without paying.
