Dictionnaire Larousse français

I used to have a physical copy of le petit larousse that I sadly had to part with so I was more than happy to trust larousse again for learning french, but the reviews kept me from it for a while. I can safely say: - The app works great on both my ipad and macbook air. - the app doesn't take a long time to load - the IU is very appealing - every word I've searched has been there (I'm only B2). - Wneh you click on a word that is in the definition of the main word you were searching, it will take you to the definition of that new word. - different meanings for words are laid out with phrases for better understanding. kinda like reverso. Cons: - Verb conjugaison doesn't have audio. - Doesn't seem to synchronize my favorite words on mac to ipad. Although I haven't tried to figure it out. I thought it would automatically do it since it's the same apple ID. - wished it had more pictures like the petite larousse had Tbh for the price and the fact it is NOT a subscription, I am more than happy with this app.

This is a glitchy piece of junk. The content is good, but it freezes up and sometimes opens up to a blank screen that doesn’t do anything.

Pas aussi complet que la version à papier, mais il y a des conjugaisons et prononciations.

The app interface is great. But I think the vocabulary needs to be developed. Thanks a lot.

Application clean mais pas intégrée au menu de partage permettant d’avoir les informations sur un mot sélectionné.

Still crashes even after deleting the app and reinstalling it—very frustrating! Would return the product for a refund if I could.

I have no problems with the content. The app is an entirely different story. For starters, when you launch it, the splash screen stays on for ten seconds. Please, what were you thinking? Do I really have to admire your splash screen for ten seconds every time I need to look up a word?

Écritures trop petite et ne tiens pas compte de la taille de police définie dans iOS... A revoir...

Bonjour, déficiente visuelle j’utilise l’application avec l’outil mis à disposition par Apple pour vocaliser tout ce qui se passe sur l’écran, l’outil s’appelle VoiceOver. Malheureusement le dictionnaire Larousse n’est pas totalement adapté pour l’utilisation avec VoiceOver. Par exemple, certains boutons ne sont pas vocalisé et donc je ne sais pas ce qui se passe si je les active. toujours avec VoiceOver, j’ignore pourquoi, mais le texte élu en anglais ou plutôt il est bien lu en français mais comme si c’était une personne anglophone qui lisait le texte français. Pas pratique du tout. Rend le texte difficilement compréhensible. Mélanie.

Larousse, la référence des dictionnaires. La première application que j’ai installée. Si je ne devais prendre qu’un livre sur une île déserte, ce serait mon Larousse. Un peu long au démarrage mais tout y est.
