Good company, horrible app
I love digikey, they always have whatever parts or supplies I need; but for being an electronics company, their app is among the worst I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. The UI is incredibly buggy, things like having to tap below the button I’m trying to press, or having to add or remove search filters multiple times before it actually applies. But what really does it for me, is that half the time I try to add an item to my cart, it gives me a pop up that says something along the lines of “we’ve encountered an error, please try again later”. Furthermore, I haven’t been able to create or add anything to a wishlist. The final straw was earlier today, I had had enough and deleted then redownloaded the app. I figured I’d log in again and hopefully I can at least have a wishlist to add to. But nope! It won’t even let me sign in! It says something like “this account is pending and should be processed in 24 hours” EVEN THOUGH I’VE HAD THIS ISSUE FOR WEEKS! I may be a small fry when compared to companies buying in bulk, but I will no longer buy from DigiKey until they fix this godawful app.
