The magazine is not designed for the iPad it has the same format as the printed version, which makes it very unpleasant experience to read even of the content is very interesting. The app crashes every 5 mins or so. Digital photographer did not invest a couple of hours in developing an app for their magazine. I believe the app does not go up to one tenth of the expectation of Digital Photographer readers.
can't open the issue on most tries on my iphone 3GS, iOS 5.0. Freezes and finally crashes :-( I have read a lot of books in the kindle app on my phone, but the magazin is not made for reading on the small screen. you have to zoom in and move the page around, etc. very bad user experience :-( Might be better on the iPad, though.
It’s up to date. With short articles so it’s easy to read and very informative. The articles keep you thinking, but make you realize Covid-19 is still around. So be safe & enjoy.
Great magazine lost of interesting and easy to learn from great job
I have been reading Digital Photographer for several years. It is focused on technique and ideas, and much less on gear, which I prefer. I always fine something of interest in each issue. Some mags have switched to a special digital version, such as Practical Photography, but I prefer the facsimile of the whole magazine like this one. I also get it a month sooner than I would in USA at a news stand. My favorite photo mag.
Very nice imagery and ideas but slim technical investigation. Wish the articles dug deeper into technical background of "how to" Feels like a basic picture magazine.
The magazine is great. I even bought a subscription but it did not seem to take. So even though it was great I did get what I paid for. Maybe I did not pay in the right currency but I expected Apple would have worked that out.
What a shame to have one of the best photography magazines neither in HD or interactive at least to jump to pages it feels like a PDF file without the ability to search , take some lesson from photography week magazine. Please fix this and take your right place in digital magazines world.

Magazines are very good but it is agonizing to access them thru the app interface. I have had to re download mine every time I am trying to read them. Also, you cannot print any page of the magazines you paid for. Very unfriendly. Stay clear.
