Digits Reviews

Just needs a few adjustments

Who am I really? on

I missed the NYT digits game so much I was glad to find this one. Though I find this one a little harder. One wish: I wish there were an undo, instead there is a restart. I’d actually like both. Sometimes I fat finger the +,-,\, or *. Then I have to go all the way back instead of just one step. Also, after several tries, the app intermittently crashes, and when I come back to the game it is a new problem.

Great NYT replacement, needs a back button

Otherwise it’s perfect!

It’s like the NYT version…

Essentially… on

United States

As you know, NYT is dropping their version of Digits on Aug 8. Sadly this app doesn’t have the same puzzle that your friends might be doing with a share feature, as the NYT version does. But….! It’s basically the same game and fun if you like numbers and operations. It does make you better at understanding operations and values that produce other values. Thanks to the coder who programmed this. Best of luck!

Will scratch the NYT Digits itch but not completely

justletmepost on

United States

This app definitely scratches the itch once I’ve done the NYT version, but it isn’t as good. I don’t think all the puzzles are solvable. Some are too easy, others are impossible, and you can’t find out the answer. You also should be able to back up a step, instead of only being able to reset. In addition, too many large numbers (25, 50, 75, etc.) and too many duplicate numbers.

Missing 1 thing

I like it - would love it - if it had a go back button

No back button?

NY Times version is better

Dark mode kills the app

Can’t see the puzzle properly in dark mode

Incorrect math

dede2417 on

8 x 75 = 600, but for some reason it always pops up 400 on this app. The math is inaccurate
