Note: Dirac Live on iOS requires a Dirac-enabled unit from NAD, Onkyo, Pioneer, Integra, or Pioneer Elite.
No matter how much you’ve invested in your sound system, your room will always have an impact on the sound quality – an all-too-often overlooked fact. Dirac Live Room Correction deals with these challenges in a unique way by addressing the issues that no other product on the market can. That’s why Dirac Live has been adopted by the world’s leading manufacturers of high-end audio-video equipment and praised by audiophiles and music creators all over the world.
Room correction solutions have been around for decades. But we at Dirac realize these only act as advanced equalizers, smoothing the frequency curve but totally missing the timing aspect. Room reflections and misaligned speakers will cause sounds to arrive at your ears with different time delays, blurring the sound image.
With Dirac Live® you’ll experience three key benefits:
1. Improved localization of sound events, or staging.
2. Better clarity and intelligibility in both music and speech.
3. A deeper, tighter bass response, free of resonance throughout the entire listening area.
Dirac Live on iOS provides a richer user experience and better interactivity compared to using an on-screen display with remote control.
For existing users of Dirac Live on iOS, you will enjoy the following enhancements:
1. A new and unique algorithm that tailors the target curve to your room and sound system.
2. A tool that lets you design your sound profile by adjusting two bars with your fingertips.
3. A simplified calibration process with fewer steps.

Dirac Live FAQ
Is Dirac Live free?
Yes, Dirac Live is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Dirac Live legit?
⚠️ The Dirac Live app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
This program/app is deficient. I bought a license for a full version for $99 on the website. But this is not working. I sent a email to the help desks, only to receive a auto reply which said that I had to send this to a another help desk. There you have to log in, but my username/password for Dirac does not work here. You have to register another account for this. I tried this, but I doesn’t work. I have paid $99 for something that doesn’t work as it should. Money out the window. Stay away.
Can’t get it connected to Onkyo
Can’t get it connected to Onkyp, kept getting error with mo futher instructions
Does not work
I have tried many, many, many times to get this to work. It does not work. Either the signal is too low, or the signal is clipping. Never is the signal at a level the app can use. Its pointless.
Won’t work
Using an NAD 3050. App connects to the receiver but when I go to take the measurements, I get a “signal to low” error. The error blames the background noise and/or volume even though the room is dead silent and the gain is pretty healthy. Couldn’t get pass the first step so I couldn’t setup a filter.
Should be ZERO STARS
App gives network error 1001 and won’t connect. Attempted to contact Dirac customer support via email and that failed also. Don’t wasted your money on Dirac. Absolutely worthless.
Garbage
An incredibly poor app
Better Than Desktop Version
Ran multiple passes with Dirac on Mac. Low end was anemic and unbalanced. Less locations to measure and bass response was as expected. System sounds great! I’ll be using the mobile app from now on without hesitation!
What is going on
The “app” just redirects you to their website… then back to the app.. and round and round you go. Can’t believe this passed the Apple submission process. Absolutely useless.
Buyer beware
Dirac live for ios worked fine until it didn’t. Tried to delete a filter and the app stopped working. The app can no longer connect to my Onkyo TX-RZ50. Dirac live on the Onkyo controller app can’t connect either. Dirac live for macos can’t connect either. I've reset the av receiver. That didn’t help either. Never had this problem with Audyssey on my Denon. Time to learn REW.
Useless
Very poor and confusing setup instructions. Tedious to operate. Worst of all, it totally failed to function citing “ambient noise” which I thought was only slight at most.
