DISH Anywhere

I have been with dish for 24 years and I have enjoyed every minute of it and now I have the anywhere app I fell in love all over again. I highly recommend this service and now the anywhere app is awesome weather you need entertainment while waiting an appointment or your husband has something on you don’t want to watch just put any device on Bluetooth and enjoy anything that you want

The app used to work but now I can’t get it to play anything it just keeps trying to load and never plays anything. I made sure it was updated and I deleted and reinstalled the app and still it won’t work.

I try to watch a show. Says dish doesn’t support sling player. I don’t have sling. I’m using an iPad. So the dish app is useless to me. Never had it. Paying $132.00 a month to not watch dish anywhere. More like dish nowhere and never. Hope direct tv will be better. Got even worse tonight. Pushed play dodgers/ padres. App took me to a college football game. Need to log in to dish to watch fox sports. Dish says system unavailable. Can you get any more useless?

Changing credit cards, it will not go back to automatic billing after automatic billing for 10 or 12 years. So they keep shutting it off. We’re currently in Australia and I tried to make a manual payment in the app. Will not let me access the account before we get back. I can’t wait to dump this service. I’m going to a competitor.

This app is very buggy and the functionality is VERY limited. It has problems streaming from the hopper. The programming of this application is very sloppy. Tech support is a joke or non-existent. They use their users as ALPHA/BETA testers without telling them. If there are no complaints, all is good! 😱. Are you kidding?!!? There are better streamings apps out there. Get Pluto, it is FREE!

Please fix this app! It used to be pretty good. Now it’s horrendous. Buffers constantly even when connected to wifi.

I very much enjoy the concept of this app - and use it often - but it rarely works and drives me insane. Each time I open the app and go to my DVR tab, it’s either missing completely, or when I click on it, is empty. The only way to solve this is to log out and then close out the app and re-login each time. I also really dislike the fact that all recordings are listed together and the folders for each person are gone. I have to sift through another family members large amount of recordings just to find my few. Lastly, the app does not work with my Apple TV, despite both devices being compatible, so I have to stick with watching on my iPad.

I’ve used this app for some time now. It is a constant struggle just watching on this app with constant buffering and poor picture quality. I’ve found YoutubeTV to be a much better experience.
