Description

This app lets you measure the point-to-point (great-circle) distance between two or more waypoints on a map or measure the surface area defined by a polygon having three or more points as its corners.
It uses online maps so it needs an internet connection.

Tap and hold to set a new waypoint, tap the options icon to read the manual or to open the settings view to change the map type or the measuring unit. You can choose between (kilo)meters, feet/yards/miles and nautical miles. The options menu also lets you choose to go to the Save/Restore view.

Tap the calculated measurement at the bottom of the map to switch between feet/yards/miles or meters/hectometers/kilometers.

Great App

I use it a lot for both viewing local area and planning hiking/walking route. Like it a lot

A good tool, shame about the dodgy adverts.

The tool is a great one to use and useful for many applications. However I wish the proprietors would avoid posting any unscrupulous adverts such as the one with Harry and Meghan backing a bit coin outfit. Amongst all they have done, right or wrong they definitely wouldn’t endorse such a company that leads the desperate into shark infested waters. If tempted please read the web page of Martin Lewis on the bit coin subject. Stick to planning your next walk by using this app. Much better !

Terrible

This app does not do anything

Doesn’t work

This app is broken. You tap the screen to add a waypoint and nothing happens. The other buttons work but that is it

Simple to use and just what I need for setting maximum safe distances for flying my UAVs...and it's free 5stars

Simple measuring of distance and areas

Surprisingly easy to find the area of a property. If it's as accurate as it appears to be I have added another half an acre of land to my property which had been wrongly measured years before.
