Diviac Reviews

Nice but outdated app

V1peret on

Ukraine

Facebook login doesn’t work, maps inside app doesn’t load, etc. App definitely needs to be updated by developers.

Paid yearly fees but unable to access

Rjhome on

United States

When resetting your password you get an email with a token. Use the token to reset the password. When logging with new password get error “You didn’t confirm your email”. No email was received besides the one with the token (so email works fine). Several emails sent to Diviac over the last few weeks and no responses. Can’t access my logs.

Buggy

Mrs. Bertucci on

United States

This app is crap. Just like all the other scuba log book apps. Buggy and crashes. I’ve input my data but the date changes randomly. I don’t feel it is reliable enough to spend the time to input all my dives. Pen and paper logs are still the best. YOU own them, and you don’t have to rely on anyone else. This app will log them incorrectly and you’ll waste you’re time.

Great App!

Everything I wanted in a dive log. Computer and mobile entry, not focused on dive computer uploads (but capable of it), plenty of room for notes, picture and video, easy map-based dive site entry, linked with buddies, printing, export, etc Contrary to other reviews, I have not seen the date change problem, and you CAN view and enter into the logbook offline.

Lost dive info

Shodansam on

United States

I spent a week on a liveaboard away from civilization but recording dives on this app. When I returned and synced the app to cloud storage, it deleted the week’s dives. Customer support had an “oh, well” response when I asked what happened. The dive info, they said, was lost forever.

Horrible

Never write reviews but had to. Couldn’t even log in/create account. Couldn’t get past the account creation page to even give a fair assessment

A lot better than ScubaEarth!!!

Bruno Genovese on

United States

Being dissatisfied with ScubaEarth I started researching for a good replacement. I liked that Diviac has mobile and web versions of the app and that the mobile works disconnected but syncs with the cloud based one when connected. The reviews here were critical of the app but they were old, and the things they criticizes seemed to be in the feature description now. So I gave it a shot, created an account, entered my certs and my first certification dive. Then downloaded the mobile app. All in all I am pleasantly impressed. Barring surprises I intend to start copying my logs over to Diviac. Nice job, and keep improving it!!!

Horrible

It changes the information I input all the time

Needs Ability to View Logbook with no Internet Connection

AshleyAshna on

United States

There are many great features about this app but one major lack of a feature renders the positive features useless. It is essential for the app to allow you to download and keep your logbook locally rather than needing an Internet connection. When I am diving out of the US, which is most of the time, I'm standing at a dive shop with no internet connection or cell service. If I can't show the operator my log book, I mine as we'll continue to keep a paper version. Enable that feature, and you have a great, functional app.

Need an update asap

DavidCastillo on

United States

This app is a total mess. Keep changing my birth and certification dates. When you cancel a new dive you got an error. You can't use it. Need to be updated asap! This app is not even close to the website which is a great page.
