A good test route app but you have to pay about £12.99 monthly for a test centre and can only change to another test centre once, else you would have to pay an additional £9.99 to change.

I am an ADI and use this to prepare pupils for their tests. The routes for my local test centre are accurate. But, if you veer off the route accidentally it does not guide you back onto the route. This should be a feature as pupils often take wrong turns when driving independently.

I'm trying to use these apps to help my driving practical test 💯

Good bits This app helped us practice routes in an area far from home where tests were available and we were on holiday. We had no local knowledge and took a driving test and passed. The voice giving directions was very good - clear and very calm. On-screen mapping also good enough on our Apple car play. A road on a route was closed for maintenance but it did pick the route up again when we rejoined the route after the diversion (we were concerned it wouldn’t). Not so good bits The test centre moved six months ago and the routes all started at the old one. It was frustrating that had to be within 200 metres of the ‘test centre’ to start the navigation. The app crashed once (only used 4x) and we had to return to test centre to start it again. The area had only four routes and one of those was very similar to another so only three really. It did also have four motorcycle routes (two of which were identical) and the actual test did use many of the roads on the motorcycle route so we were glad we had done it. Overall very glad we had the app, absolutely worth the one month we paid and I would / will use it again with other children but it is not perfect.

I use this with my pupil and its really useful and could do better with if you miss your turn then won’t redirect you to another road. Overall great app👍

Signed up for a subscription to access ADI routes for a specific test centre only to find out they aren’t available. Checked the Support page which says to contact them to request access to ADI routes. Which I did, only to be told that if they aren’t on the app they aren’t available. So that’s £12.99 down the drain.

HORRIBLE APP, WAY TOO MUCH MONEY, NOT WORTH IT, DO NOT BUY! You Have to subscribe to this for £12.99 a month and only gives you access to one test centre, and have to pay another £9.99 for every other test centre. And they say you can change what centre to use, but you have to contact them, which never works! In addition, you must be close to the test centre to start the route, the directions aren’t very clear, and if you make a wrong turning it does nothing to correct it.

I used this to help with my ADI training. £12.99 only allows access and the user to select one test centre. I couldn’t find any other way to deject more on the app. Main faults with the app include user must be at the test centre to start the route. This is not helpful as depending on the time of day whilst practising you may be hindering other students actually on test at the DVSA centre. Also if you deviate from the routs at any point it’s stops and tells you to start back at the centre. Needs much more improvement particularly given the cost which in my opinion is too expensive.

The apps UI very user friendly. Coming to the subscription, I bought the Crewe route and found the routes 2 and 5 are the same. Other routes are also like the to and fro of the route is changed slightly.

I got this app sometime before my test date for practice purposes, and it was really helpful. The last route I practiced with on the app turned out to be the one on test day, making it easy for me to pass with just 3 minor faults. Thank you!!!
