Costs $9.99/week

The app works, but $10 weekly is insane.

Happy that the app worked, and offered a 3 day trial. That said, an ongoing charge of $10/week feels predatory. I cannot see any justification for why this isn’t a one-off purchase.

Terrible for mirroring apps

AGG1977 on

I bought this app hoping I could mirror an app in real time to a larger screen and the results were sub par. While it did mirror the app it was extremely slow and clunky making it non functional. Regret paying the subscription as I won’t be using the app again.

We used the free trial, and it worked well so we paid the fee and now it hasn’t worked once.

Ridiculous

What does it even mean that copyrighted content won’t mirror and that that is not an issue with your app. How is it not an issue with your app. I’ve subscribed to Disney, YouTube premium and many other services and I want to watch these things on my TV. My 3rd gen Apple TV’s AirPlay just stopped working so I want to buy a cheap fire stick so I can AirPlay content to my TV, noting that fire sticks have a limited number of apps to choose from. But how am I going to buy one if the app that enables Airplay - your app - says oh well it doesn’t mirror copyrighted content. What else do you suppose that I would want to watch on my TV other than copyrighted content? Homemade videos? And how is it your business anyway, AirPlay simply shifts it from one screen to another, how is it a breach of copyright. Imagine if a tape recorder was sold that says oh it doesn’t record copyrighted material. Your app is meant to mirror the screen/airplay content, if it cannot do that then imo it is useless. Edit: not good enough imo, the normal Airplay function built into the iPhone/iPad casts all content including copyrighted content onto my (newer) Apple TVs. But if Airplay is used via your app with a Fire Stick TV then it apparently won’t play copyrighted material. Why is that - if it is a copyright breach it should be a breach whether its an Apple TV or a Fire Stick TV. There is not even a list of the providers whose content won’t work with your app. Do you expect customers to just subscribe and hope it works?

Waste of Money

Waster $25 for the app and it’s not functioning properly. It’s been more than 2 weeks from my purchase so I won’t be able to get a refund. Even though I haven’t used it until yesterday. Waste of money! Don’t consider purchasing it! The customer service doesn’t even respond.

Meh

It does serve its purpose. But very slow to respond and not very good quality picture.
