Docs To Go Standard

BEWARE: Not a functional app..!! A) PDF files with links built in. The links will no longer work once saved in DTG B) No printing either.. Just the basic Fundamental functions expected from such a tool are missing...

Was useful but upload to Dropbox moved to premium and premium price increased. No longer useful

This is not good value for money. It is pitched like its office on your ipad but its word and excell are fairly limited and It scrambles powerpoint slides so you can't read them, and you can only edit powerpoints if you by the pro versio, which isn't clean unless you read the fine print. The word function is no better than may of the free note taking programs and the excell only does spreadsheets and some basic calcualtions, it doesn't graph and the avaliable formulas are limited to the basic/common calcuations. For a relatively expensive app I expected a much higher level of functionality and it just didn't meet expectations, but it would be ok as free or cheap app.

Difficult to use and not worth the cost to purchase

I am looking forward to being able to use this app which is why I got the iPad in the first place. However it is too hard to down load... Just not simple. I will see how long it take the technical support to help me out.

Great app exactly what I was looking for. Now I can work on a spread sheet while away from the office. And email it to myself if need be. AAA++

Am only commenting on the spreadsheet as I do not use the rest of the suite very much. Use it on an iPad. Docs2Go spreadsheet has plenty of features but the user interface is not as clean as Numbers or QuickOffice. The way it handles multiple sheets is particularly cludgy - no tabs, just a button to take you to a line of sheets you scroll through - and no way to reorder than that I have found. I prefer QuickOffice, although that lacks the ability to freeze rows/columns and always opens at cell A1 on the first sheet - neither of which limitations is present in Docs2Go.n. If you want graphs/charts then Numbers is your only option.

After buying the app and the installing the desktop app on my PC, th edesktop app would not find the ipad, i found out that the app requires a particular type of network setting on the router to work, and being a non-computer geek I had absolutley no idea how to set this up. More information is needed in the "requirements" settings of the app description so as to make an informed choice as to whether you can get the app working or not over WiFi. Purchase at your own peril.

I have both iphone and ipad but I can't add the ipad as pass code is not accepted

Great app! An absolute essential for those who wish to store, edit, create office documents on their iPhone, and sync them with their Mac or PC. I had over 1000 documents on my Mac and I just selected the folders I wished to sync and then voila!, they were copied to my iPhone over wi-fi :-)
