DOCUMENTARY+ | Streaming App

Update: iPhone app is not working as well as the tv app… tried to write an email to the support address given in the app. But the email bounced back because the address couldn’t be found. I think they went out of business! ————————————————————— Seems like an app I would like to use. Problem is that it doesn’t work in my Apple TV. I’m running the latest tvOS. Looks like the tv app hasn’t been updated in awhile. Please update so it will work with the latest software for Apple TV. Thank you 🙏

started with 4 minutes of ads and then went into some other moronic clip that was not what I asked for.

No sound. You must buy subscription to the player in order to get sound on the documentaries. It is misleading that there’s no subscription, when actually there is. It’s a farce! I would not, I repeat, word not recommend this app to anyone, and I will be sure to spread the “great news“ all over social media

All of these five star reviews are FAKE! Do not believe any review that rates this app more than 1 star as the developers are the ones whom gave their own app these high ratings/purchased these fake reviews! This app is garbage, all of the videos on this trash app are available for *FREE* on literally EVERY streaming site, including YouTube. This app literally stole the free videos from YouTube and hot-linked them for their app interface (they’re *STEALING* YouTube’s and other streaming sites bandwidth and content) Then they have the audacity to bombard you with ads every 3 minutes! I strongly advise everyone to delete this app after leaving their honest 1 star review and I hope Apple along with Google/YouTube & other effected providers take legal action against these thieving developers. Apple please blacklist these thieving Chinese con-artists!

I wish this app wasn’t such a struggle to make work, because the content is so great. Videos go black nearly every time. Constant restarting to try to make them not black, constant reversion to black. Frustrating.

I’m a big fan of it. Who can say no to free documentaries? Also, they’re actually good documentaries. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the lack of Chromecast or Airplay support. With that support it would be perfect.

This app doesn’t even want my email address, let alone my money, to watch a diverse collection of well-made nonfiction. That’s worth five stars right there. It helps that the clean, minimalist interface is easy to navigate. There aren’t any bells or whistles, but I don’t miss them. Who needs a watchlist when you want to watch half the library? Many theaters that would have screened these films won’t reopen post-COVID and many streaming services bury these films behind bloated catalogs and messy menus. This app arrived in the right places at the right time.

Great for watching documentaries on the go. Awesome selection of premium documentary films.
