Description

There are many travel apps and websites for discovering what to see and do. However, this “what” part of trip planning is just the beginning. The “how” part of connecting all the places together in a sensible order with correct directions for every step often requires either a lot research or hiring a tour guide. DogSheep Tour Maps is the app to help you be your own tour guide!
Download tour maps with the connections and directions already included. DogSheep is a user-driven community of tour maps plus an app to create tours. If a specific map is close to but not exactly what you want, you can easily make changes with the app. App supports adding picture and audio notes for each place, and specifying different transportation modes for each step.
Currently, our community has tours for Vancouver, Toronto and San Jose (Cupertino) with more on the way. You are welcome to share your knowledge by creating and sharing tour maps of your town or a town that you have visited.
For those who find maps confusing, the app even has an augmented reality (AR) mode that uses your camera to guide you (for devices that support ARKit). There’s no reason why you cannot be your own tour guide!
