CELA user

Audiobook does not remember spot. A known issue?

No longer able to access audiobooks only text to speech

I have been using CNIB library for years and was able to listen to audiobooks read by an actual human voice. Now with this dolphin easy reader it is much more difficult to get an audiobook with a human reading it. Most frustrating. I have called the support line a couple of times but to no avail.

Garbage

Quits constantly, haven’t yet been able to listen to a single book it says there’s been an error and to try later. Except later doesn’t fix it. So disappointed as CELA is fantastic.

Update made the problem it was to fix

I never had this problem but now I do ! It used to restart where I left off but now it will go back to the start sometimes or to another point earlier than where I left off

Easy reader no longer works without Internet

Easy reader does not allow me to access my Books without an Internet connection. This was not the issue for the last three years but apparently the latest update wants you to connect to the Internet When i attempted to acess my books i was on a bike path

Loading

It keeps telling me it is loading after I install it. I've tried twice to reinstall it but it isn't doing anything. It might be my phone though. Looking forward to trying it.

Does the job

I did have some initial problems for quite a while… Downloading from the CELA Library... and Daisy direct to player format changed into text format. I think the problem was actually more with CELA. But apparently… Things have done whatever mysterious things they do and we seem to be good again. Nothing special. Prefer to use audible.ca but of course that’s a fair bit Of $$ per book

My experience has been positive

A lot of people in the review section have been discussing accessibility issues. I haven’t been using this app for more than a few months but at this time all the accessibility bugs have been fixed. I’ve found this app to be the best and easiest way to readbooks from cela library.

With the andoid app, I can easly download and listen to daisy audio book from SQLA but sadly, I can’t download any book from SQLA with the app from my ipad. That’s frustrating for people living in Québec.

Stuck at 93%

This app has been really great but am in hospital and I can’t get a book to download past 93% for the last 2 days.
