Doomdepths Reviews

A little too addicting

JoshTheGG on

Netherlands

It’s a great roguelike turn based game. The start you have to learn it with trial and error because you miss some details about the game. But you’re able to figure it out. Once you get the hang of it you can’t stop playing. I just deleted the game because i played too much in one sitting, and couldnt stop playing. The further you come the slower the progress is but the more options you have to develop the character. Maybe making it a little more fast pace in the later gameplay in a run and make it more beginner friendly by giving better descriptions or giving a little tutorial every time a new aspect is added. But overall its a great game!

Great game

Takes a little while to know what you’re doing, but the core gameplay is extremely addicting. A very solid rougelite for a mobile experience

Have no clue

Confusing game play, you’re just thrown into a screen a million options. Finally start playing can only attack twice. Barely any info on their wiki page, discord has no information. Literally have no idea how this game works.

Fun game

Its a good old dungeon explorer. Love it.

Super fun and good progression

I’ve spent a bunch of time playing this game and really enjoying it, but sometimes the game will crash and most of the time I lose my run. For those who have played it, I was about to beat a run with a primal sword and it crashed, erasing that run completely. Devastating.

One of my favorite games

I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the top-middle of the screen is covered by my front-facing camera. Not able to see my currency when upgrading my town hall. It also blocks the current class during gameplay and more.

Ruined by forced ads

Collanaro on

Could be great. No tutorial, and you have to figure a lot out on your own, but I don’t mind that. Parts of the UI overlap, seem too zoomed in, so you can’t see some stuff. That’s a pretty big problem. A lot of text and even buttons are covered up and can’t be read. But…worst of all, there’s just no excuse for forced ads. I had high hopes, and really wanted to like this game. Could be one of the rare gems if not for the UI and forced ads.

Would be 5 stars if games saved

Tickles56 on

If the game crashes or gets closed it doesnt save an you will often lose an hour + of progress on a run, because the game crashes. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

Fun, yet limited

The build variety is insane! My critique is the short run length and the fact that cross-class skills/builds rely on holding the appropriate weapon during a level up

Great game but needs guidance

There should be some sort of tips/guide section. I have come across a bug where if the game crashes or gets closed abruptly your save will get destroyed. It has ruined a few great runs.
