Can’t wait!

Well, we’re all locked down due to COVID-19, but at least we can plan our next visit with this app. This is the third guide app from this writer I’ve downloaded and, as usual, it’s really well written and set out. Detail is amazing and I’m sure we’d miss out on lots without it. Can’t wait!

The Dordogne I need to revisit

I thought I knew the Dordogne area quite well from a stay 25 years ago. A beautiful evening dining out in one of the courtyard cafes in Sarlat, other memories of canoeing on the river and staying in one of the rustic villages come to mind. Now I realise that I’ve barely touched the surface of a spectacular region of France. The detailed descriptions of places and experiences in this excellent guide make me want to go back and start again. There’s so much more to see and do with the planned itineraries that I now know exactly how to make the best of my next visit. My sketchy memories can be fully coloured and completed using only a fraction of this guide leaving so much for further visits.

Looking forward to exploring more

Judging by accurate information on already familiar places, this app reminds me of travels past and tempts me to visit this region of France again when possible. In the meantime, great for armchair travelling and planning long summer explorations and leisurely meals!
