Description
Dottie is on a mission to help teams stay happy and healthy.
Happy teams are more productive, more engaged, more motivated, and less likely to look for other positions.
You might know if you had a good day today, but what about your co-workers? What about yesterday or the day before, or even last week? With Dottie, you can keep track of your good, normal and bad days at work in less than 5 seconds each day.
Each day, you record whether you had a good day, a normal day or a bad day in your personal journal. When your whole team does it, you can see how everyone has been feeling over time.
If someone in particular has helped you out that day, you can send them a small gift and a note to say thanks.
Dottie is great for managers who don't have time to conduct extensive 1-to-1s every week. Why wait a week if someone has had a bad couple of days? With Dottie, you can see downward trends and act straight away to fix problems.
Dottie is great for agile teams. If you want to know how your teammates are feeling, Dottie lets you know. If you get into your retrospective and can't remember what you did in the last sprint, Dottie lets you know. If you have had 2 bad days prior to your retrospective, Dottie can remind you of the 5 good days you had last week, reducing availability bias.
Dottie is great for anyone in a small team that cares about the happiness of their teammates.
Dottie can even be used on your own as a personal journal.
Dottie helps build team morale and fosters good relationships between team members. Sending gifts lets you say thanks in a quick, fun way.
Team health and happiness is so important for productivity that you can't ignore it. It's been shown in numerous studies of agile development teams that happy teams write better quality code, faster. You'll also find reduced churn in your team, with your team being more engaged, motivated and happy with life generally.

Dottie is just getting started, and there are lots of exciting features on the roadmap that will help teams be happier, more motivated, engaged and bonded. Keep an eye out for future updates.
