The Downdetector app offers real-time status and uptime monitoring for hundreds of services, including telecommunication outages (internet, phone, and TV service), online banking problems, websites that go down, and apps that aren’t working. The service monitors over 12,000 services in 45+ countries.

Our outage detection is based on real-time analysis of user reports from multiple sources, including the Downdetector website, and reports filed through this app.

Functionalities:
- Track outages with services in your country (45+ countries supported)
- Select your favorite services and have them displayed at the top of the list
- File an outage report when a service is down for you
- Check problem reports from other users of the app and the Downdetector website.
- Read and write comments
- View outage maps to check for local outages with telecommunications providers
- View support contact information for each service, such as phone number, web contact form or e-mail address (if available).

Not enough detail to be really useful

It would be far more helpful if I could zoom in on the map to a neighborhood level rather than it more or less maxing out on a city-wide scale.

Apple, Sportsnet, & RBC

are usually down.But, not completely, so this is useless until totally down. Thx for trying, but I'll just Google "down" when completely.

This app is alright for getting basic info but the outage map is not accurate at also a bunch of other info is incorrect and does not change for weeks at a time.

Map is glitchy

Can't zoom map. Keeps resetting to wide city level.

Useless! Requires iOS 11

I don't update anything from Apple anymore because too much data gets destroyed with every update. I use iOS 10 latest version because it is stable and everything for that version works excellently. I can't afford Apple buggy essentially malware disguised as updates. Down detector has joined the list of disgusting iOS malware apps not supporting older systems. "Real" apps provide support for older downloads when the iOS is detected.

4.0.1 - fixed the crash. I do not like the UI. No way to sort the favourites. Main page doesn’t appear to be in any logical order either. Keep trying. 4.0.0 - Awful UI. Constantly crashes. All of my starred companies gone. Shame.

Worked okay Update now doesn’t work

Yet again good app until they updated it now terrible, just keeps crashing. When it did work you got an ad with everything you clicked on but at least it worked. Move on to a better app
