A ‘writing’ app without italics. It doesn’t automatically flow between machines like Apple notes does. I was unable to see any difference between free or pro - thus cancelled my subscription.

The greatest barrier to using this app really effectively is the substandard UX. Nothing is really that intuitive. As features have been added over time, ease of use has suffered. Even the online help and guides are chaotic. I’ve had this app well over a year and only just started to put in the effort to try and get my head around the UI and usage. Conceptually its a brilliant app. The actual execution leaves a lot to be desired. It would be fantastic if the developers hired an experienced UX designer and rebuilt the app from the ground up.
Just went to change from monthly to yearly subscription only to find the price has almost doubled!! Don’t get me wrong, Drafts is impressive app. However, so much value is created by users who develop actions. The new pricing feels like paying for the privilege of taking part in that. In this part of the world it now costs $55 a year to be part of the process. Some of this is on Apple for their greedy developer tax, but the exchange rate means users outside the U.S get taxed much worse. I have been developing actions and sharing them for years, not to mention promoting the app. Where’s the incentive to keep doing this now? The previous price point was steep, but almost worth it. This is just too much. Perhaps it has something to do with the macOS app? Where does that leave iOS only users. Time to go all in on Shortcuts and Scriptable.
What happens when the creator is smart enough to see a gap, fill it completely. Then iterate with other users feedback while delighting current users with features they didn’t know they needed.
Unfortunately I can’t afford or justify the subscription Wish there was a one time purchase option so I could use the shortcuts actions.
Best Apple Watch app I've got! It's so useful, can be added to most complications, you can record a note or write one with your finger. I never forget phone numbers, grocery items, jobs I have to do ... keeps me on track. Thanks for the best little app ever! 🤗
If Drafts had a Windows version (with sync), it’d be my most used app
Been using it for years now. One of the apps the lives in my phone’s menu. Anytime I need to jot something down I use it. Love that the Mac app syncs flawlessly with it.
I’ve been using Drafts since before it went to Mac, and it keeps on getting better. Some of its automation powers were out of my technical reach, so lately if been using chatGPT to compose drafts actions, and I’m getting even more out of it!
Best tool for saving text for later work; even free version is great
