Dragon Go Client

Hasn’t been updated in five years so who knows how insecure it might be to even have it on your phone. Doesn’t support notifications, so you have to constantly open it to see if opponents have made a move yet. This app desperately needs an update.

I remember using this app in the past and receiving notifications when I had moves. Unfortunately it seems like that no longer works. I was hoping to contact the dev to talk about it, but found no way to contact the dev on the new website for the app. Hopefully they’ll see this and reach out to me! I’d love to help with development on the app, I am not sure if it’s open source anymore.

The “join a game“ function did not seem to work at all, as no games were shown. There is also no way of knowing that your game request has been seen or accepted; just does not seem to be very user-friendly on first impressions.

Takes forever to play a game. No way to judge the other player or exit a game if the other player is unresponsive.

Shows me nothing when I attempt to look for a game. Needs to be fixed. Very unsatisfactory.

App seems to not actually work. I try to start a game and nothing happens after I submit a request. No indication that I have ever even sent a request or anything. UPDATE: For some reason, the app begins to work now. The interface is not intuitive.

I’m using Iphone8. I don’t know if this is a bug. I saw there was a “chat” symbol, I pressed the button, I typed “hello”, then I found there was no “done” or “submit” button to send it out!

A friend has sent me a ton of requests that I haven't received. I also don't see an interface to find them. That seems like a basic in-app capability that should be included

This app and dragon go service is excellent. I really enjoy long term plays with this. There is enough time to think a next move.

This app is great, much easier than the web interface. It's limited to playing or joining games, but notifies you when you have a game waiting, which is really convenient.
