Great game, however.

I would rate this game 5 Stars. Its fun, i think the bosses and upgrades are improvements over the first game. I also prefer how in this game you can start going faster quickly, i know in the first game you were somewhat sluggish and it was difficult to gain speed. The gameplay is pretty similar, though there are some things that differ that I miss in the first game. My issues with this game: In the first game you weren’t subject to levels, what I mean is that in dragon hills 2 you play levels. So you start, and finish it with a boss at the end. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it’s something I miss about the old game how you could just keep going until death. I don’t like how there are so many acid pools. They are a little too common and it can get a bit annoying how you have to dodge them. Some of them are downright unavoidable at times and for me they are the main thing that gets me killed. But that’s mostly about it for me so far. Other than my issues with the game I’d say everything else is either the same as the first game or improved.

It’s OK

The person is a little bit inappropriate and I hate how she’s cross eyed and the second level is really hard. I hate all the acid pools.

Needs Works - Still prefer the first game

I have played this game through now twice. I like the new (variety of) worlds. Guns are cool (swords were better), GodzillaMech is fun, bosses are the best change. This game is a grind at first but becomes more enjoyable after you get the big’uns later on. Kinda wish some of the old mechanics were still in play, like playing till you die versus level to level - which is annoying. Rewards are more difficult to grab in this game, and you can’t use the bottom in this game to let them catch up to you. I could be wrong but the old game used to have more digging room, and it was easier to get to the higher ground in the older game. I like that the acid pits are hard but some are down right unavoidable, which is kind of annoying, if the bridge is out before you get there no level of skill is going to keep you from losing life. Frankly I like it as a time killer, it’s a mindless tap game, but I will probably not continue buying these titles.

awesome!

i was/am a huge fan of the first Dragon Hills game, which is pretty simple gameplay and basically the same level over and over but is still super fun. BUT Dragon Hills 2 is wayyyyy better! more action and a variation in levels and bosses! very fun! well worth the $2.99!! this is an awesome sequel 🏆

An improvement over the old one, but harder

Same as title says. It just feels much harder overall? But still fun and an easy way to kill some time.

Great Game! But you’ve got some problems…

What a great game! I’ve been playing the original dragon hills for years, and a new game? Whoop whoop! Problem is that the bosses are kinda overpowered. I had to play for 3 hours to beat ONE boss. Not cool! But still, the game has so many improvements.

Definitely not an easy game

Updating after a few months of play. I still enjoy the game, but I am dropping my rating by 1 star. This is because the game does have some pretty major issues. These include unreliable game physics (random speed increases and decreases, random effects from enemies when you are trying to hit them, and random issues with terrain.). It also includes a basic unfairness where enemies and acid can touch your dragon’s tail and do damage, but you can’t catch a power up with your tail. Last one is a dual issue. In the first game, if you died and regenerated, then the terrain and enemies around you went neutral for a few moments so you didn’t regenerate into a pit of lava. This game not only doesn’t do that, but sometimes drops you off screen so you cannot see the dangers, kills you, then regenerates you head first onto a pit of acid. There is challenging and then there is unfair. This game is bordering on unfair. Original review: But it’s not hard because of complicated stories or controls. It is just a challenging game. I’ve loved the first game for years. I still have it on my phone and play it often. I’m nearly to level 700 on it. This game is an improvement and I wasn’t sure that was possible! The scenarios are more challenging. The finesse needed is more challenging, but the game is addictive and fun. Absolutely worth the price. And I am ECSTATIC to find a game designer and a game that are a one price buys the game rather than a gouge you for every cent you have like so many games out there. Keep it up and I will gladly continue to throw my money to you!
