iOS not supported?
Even though it says in the info on the App Store the app is supported by iOS 8 or later, the app itself is telling me iOS is not supported. This company needs to make major updates, don’t bother downloading the app.

This program is awesome! Though for what I pay I’d love if this had a functional app.
Lectures were decent, but Half of the features would not work with the iPad and pencil. Save your money. Better resources out there for less money. Also price is per course, so you do not get multiple course access for that monthly price. Paid for a month which was a mistake.
I think the app is really confusing and doesn’t run like an app at all. It’s like whatever company this is was too lazy to create an app and instead put their website into an app thinking it would be the same thing. The text is blurry and everything is hard to navigate. Plus there is a one week free trial yet it never takes me anywhere where I can do an in app purchas. Therefore I can’t see anything. I’m sure whoever reads theses reviews is in no way in charge of pricing but wow the pricing is ridiculous. I’m in pre med, my senior year, and have never seen anything I’ve had to use this expensive. It makes you think you can view within your level such as undergraduate then makes you pay 10 dollars a month per subject. So it you actually wanted to see all subjects, it would be like 50 dollars a month. Just for a subsection.
If this app, or the platform in general (online or in the app) were better I would be ALL. OVER. THIS. APP. It is a great concept but the execution is very poor, and here is why: To start, upon opening the app, the first thing that pops up is “This IOS app is no longer supported, please access your subscription in safari”. Although it says this, you are still able to use the app completely, but you will have that same little red notification bar at the top of whatever page you’re on unless you are viewing a video. In addition to this, the app really functions more like a website than an actual application. It is extremely poor quality, does not completely fill the screen (I have an 11” iPad Pro 2019 model) and is VERY slow to load. The website is better in terms of the look and functionality until you get to the actual drawing part. The platform somehow manages to get pencil and eraser confused and will essentially just treat the eraser like a white pencil instead of actually erasing it. The problem with this is that if you made a mistake while tracing something, you will not only be “erasing” your work, but the actual stencil will be erased as well. The one feature that I would honestly pay double what I already did to have would be support for Apple Pencil. If you have an Apple Pencil, good luck, as there really is no compatibility for it whatsoever throughout the entirety of this platform. Palm rejection is nonexistent on both the website and the app, which makes for a huge inconvenience. That feature alone would have made this 1-star review a 4-star review. In all honesty, I really see a ton of value in this app/service, especially for us individuals who learn better when we are actively doing something engaging with the material. Had this app been better engineered earlier on, it could have been a HUGE success when all the learning switched to online because of COVID-19. It is a great idea and a great concept, just poorly executed as of currently. I really hope that improvements are made sometime soon, as I would LOVE to be able to use this platform to its full portential! and the of would LOVE to see some Apple Pencil integration in the app
It was great studying with DITKI but now it is not working on iPad anymore. Unless this is fixed 2 stars. Still great videos and explanations.
This update seems to not work well with the iPad right now, a great source, but this bug needs fixed. I said this a week ago, the bug is fixe and this is back to being a 5 star learning tool. Active learning is key to success!
I have loved using DITKI in the past 2 months to review topics covered during my first year of med school. I am a highly visual/tactile learner, so being able to watch and draw along with the videos helps me to memorize material. I don’t think I would use DITKI to engage with didactic material for the first time, but I do use it as a tool for understanding how to best organize class material for faster/better memorization. With that being said, I wish DITKI had more background material to consult when I don’t understand a concept in a video. Overall, this is an engaging product that I wish I had found sooner!
Great concept, horrible horrible execution. SIMPLY PUT, NOTHING WORKS. It’s blurry, laggy, cuts out like windows 98 with 8 mb ram. Confusing interface, not sure how to do Picture in picture. Everything seems to be loaded off their server, with nothing stored locally on your iPad, making the retrieval of a single page of lecture take6 seconds, followed by a frozen iPad. ALL I achieved was taking out 2 days of USMLE study time.
I don’t care what the app developers say, this app STILL does not work well with iPad Pro. I reviewed this a few months ago and basically nothing has changed. The image quality is terrible for the app, which means the app is meant for older generations and not iPad Pro, like the developers have claimed. The program itself works great on a computer, but since I’m reviewing the app, I still cannot give more than one star. Additionally, there is no option to print the drawing PDF that I assume is made to be able to print out or download to be able to draw along with the video, rendering the drawing pdf useless on this app. I would love it if the developers could contact me so I can send screen shots of what the app looks like on my end, because it seems like they think it works fine for the iPad when it definitely does not.
