Yes, Draw Things is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Draw Things legit?
✅ The Draw Things app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
A lot of options, support for custom models and VAE, with sampler selection and other tweaks.
Completely ridiculous font size. Not usable by anyone using anything better than a potato to view it on. Font is about a magnitude smaller than what a sensible person would use.
There's help text on the tiny buttons - but you have to hold the button in to see it. It's clearly a badly translated mobile interface.
Figuring out how to actually use inpainting/outpainting, if there is such a thing, has been baffling.

Crashes during image Generation.
Crashes during image generation every time the app is used on my iPhone 13 mini. Latest iOS update, later version of the app. Unusable in its current state.

The app is perfect, all issues are fixed as soon as they are reported. I can’t say anything else. I love this app.

I'm surprised the developer doesn't emphasize this fact, but I believe this is the ONLY AI art generation app for iPhone that runs completely on your device. That means all the art is generated by your iPhone's own processor, so no Internet connection is needed and there are no monthly subscription fees involved!
Remote Localhost API for Image Generation
Please please please consider allowing the application to communicate with our Local desktops webui thru —api command line arguments or local host connection. I would use this everyday if that were the case. I don’t want to generate images on a apple processor when I could use my 4090.

Amazing App
Great Visual AI toolbox and very easy to use - far and away the best interface for Stable Diffusion anywhere. The UI is incredibly well thought out and my guess is that the dev is someone who enjoys making art.
Two things to note - it is heavy on the device battery and the device does get warm enough to pause charging (iPad Pro M2 256gb) - not at all surprising considering the workload involved with AI image generation
Overall - just get it!
