Overpriced garbage

Been using it for years now and really like it

Horrible customer service. They don’t ever attend calls that are scheduled via zoom to address issues. Would not recommend. Constantly shuts down. AWFUL support.

If you like banging your head against the wall and yelling at your iPad or laptop at the end of a 10 hour day when the app decides to freeze as you are finishing a long MVA examination. All this RIGHT AFTER I complied like a good user and allowed the new version to update. THIS IS STILL THE 2nd worst provider EHR program I have used in my 10 years as a DC. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!

I get emails every other day telling me that there is “slowness” noted and they’re gonna get back to us when they get that fixed. I have a dragon medical, but I can’t use it in Dr. Chrono because they want me to use their speech recognition system You have to have lightning, fast, blazing Internet, speed, or else it just takes time to build a note. I probably should use an iPad rather than my laptop. I think the iPad makes it faster and if I use an iPad, I probably would like it more. I guess it’s OK for what it costs. Maybe I’m just overreacting. I guess every doctor I know doesn’t like the EMR they have and they’re always changing to a new one, that they don’t like. Lol

We have been with DrChrono for six months, and I have to totally sing the praises of this cloud-based program. I am a longtime PC user but most of the time I’m simply on my iPhone getting my work done. It’s an extremely intuitive interface and once you set up the templates for your clinical work, things can really sing along. Some things I would love to have, but it might be my ignorance at this time that I don’t have them: #1 Straightforward way of tracking procedures we have performed by date and by procedure type. This type of mini-database would be helpful as we do various procedures in our clinic focused on physiatry. #2 More powerful editing tool for putting in photographic or imaging data. This is light years ahead of what we had with Aprima, which was a disaster, but I am getting greedy and now I want more features! #3 The medical voice recognition program built into the app is a bit primitive. One is not able to save vocabulary, train, etc. It does repeatedly annoying things, but I can get over this. I use transcription for the heavy lifting in any event, such as new patients. ————— All in all, it’s been a very good transition. I barely have looked at a user manual or online video. One more thing, I can count on two hands a number of times I’ve ever put in an online review for anything, so this means something for me. I want to share my good experience. Richard in Seattle

Awful support, unstable software.

I have attempted to use DrChrono for several years; I know of 2 medical practices that had to start over because Dr Chrono did not work and they were unable to rid their system of the remnants of the EMR. You can only ask support one question at a time and they took 7-10 days for a single answer so therefore absolutely impossible to use. Good Luck
