I love this game
Found it by myself, played for just a lil while and after seeing the amount of cars to unlock I was shocked positively! Much love to devs The ads don’t break the economy and are not really interuptive

#DRIVE is an endless driving videogame inspired by road and action movies from 1970s. As simple as possible, allowing the player to pick a car, pick the place and just hit the road. Just be aware not to hit anything else.

Shell of its former self
Recent updates changed the game for much worse. Years ago, the game used to be quite simple and fun: just drive, as the title suggested. The UI has been overcomplicated and lost its intuitive charm, leaving the art direction muddied. The garage is bloated with tons of cars. It took me a while to figure out how to repaint my car as I had to interact with a background object that’s not even in the garage for some reason. Some features have been cut. It’s gotten harder to earn currency and fun side quests that let you unlock special cars have been removed, now everything is purchasable all the same with no variety, likely to push micro transactions. Car upgrades have been simplified and cannot be rolled back from what I’ve seen. There are now many more ads and micro transactions littering the entire game, making it resemble any other p2w mobile game, which I’m very disappointed by, as the simplistic gameplay loop is still mostly there and not befitting of such aggressive monetization, erasing the reason why I liked it in the first place. Returning to this game, I saw that most of my progress has been erased. I will not be re-earning it this time, as it’s no longer nearly as enjoyable and fun as before. Guess corporate greed got to these devs, as well. A pity.
