Description

Drive lah is powered by car owners who share their car when they don’t need it. It is there for you when you need more than a one-way trip. It helps you to do your shopping around town for the day, to haul your furniture or to skip town for a few days.
RENT YOUR NEIGHBOUR’S CAR
Easily access cars nearby. You don’t have to wait for long hours to book a car! Who knows, your neighbour might be one of your hosts. Cars are listed islandwide and you can search for cars which may be within 100m of your location.
AFFORDABLE AND TRANSPARENT PRICING
Drive lah utilises unused car hours of individual car owners and that makes rentals on Drive lah typically 30-40% affordable than traditional rental companies. Registration and verification are free. We only charge a small fee to provide a fully secured & convenient experience to you including insurance by Tokio Marine Insurance Group.
SAFER OPTION TO TAXIS AND RIDE-HAILING
We hear you. Recent developments have shed new light on safe distancing and good hygiene practice. Drive lah responds to this by providing a safer space, as privately-owned cars have limited usage and are fully-sanitised. A review system for both renters and hosts also encourages good maintenance and use of the vehicles.
CONTACTLESS KEY HANDOVER
With our newest Drive lah Go™ technology, hosts provide access for their cars to approved renters directly via their phone instead of physically handing over the keys. Yes, that’s right – hosts using this technology from Drive lah will no longer be needed to be physically present at the time of handover.
SHARE YOUR CAR AND EARN INCOME
Reduce car ownership costs by earning hundreds, or even thousands of dollars per month. Rent out your vehicle when it would otherwise be sitting in a driveway or parking spot. Your car gets comprehensive insurance for Drive lah trips as you register it on our platform. Likewise, you’ll help Singaporeans save a lot of time.
FULLY VERIFIED AND PERSONAL
Drive lah is a community built on trust! We make sure that all car owners and renters are legitimate people. Only verified individuals with driver’s licenses may request for car bookings. Everyone’s safety and security is a priority.
TOWARD A GREENER CITY
We want to work towards a future with one million fewer cars on the road, and cities with more green space than parking lots. To achieve this we believe in the power of sharing, and that starts with you.

Registration is a very long and painful process

ahBingorBingor on

Singapore

Try to register since yesterday evening. None of the step is smooth, it is now almost 12pm, still not able to get my problem solved. Tried to reach them via WhatsApp and hotline The customer service is very polite, but none of step they propose works. None of the process is smooth.

Extremely long Driver Verification process

A victimized player on

Singapore

Driver Verification process is still in progress after 22 hours, but their FAQ lied that the process will only take few minutes to 3 hours! Drive lah has absolutely zero credibility!

ABYSMAL customer service

Austville69 on

Singapore

I went to pick up the car I had booked the previous week for my son’s birthday. I took a selfie of me next to the car with the license plate. They wouldn’t accept that. So they said I needed a photo of me holding up my driving license next to the car license plate. Does that sound ridiculous to you?? Anyway, they refused to open the car. Company policy. I had to walk home through a thunderstorm too. The car was also in the basement so no internet connection. Use this idiotic service at your peril. So many hoops to jump through you’re better off using Grab. Pathetic.

App issue - hang

Foxxy II on

Singapore

There seems to be an issue with the app when approving the pick up request. It hang on me. Restarting the app does not seems to work.

Scam

RTWY8886 on

Singapore

Full of scam craps

Lack of flexibility for guests.

TLSG129 on

Singapore

The issues were usually caused by the hosts as they are not very committed to rent out their car. The cancellation policy is more biased towards the guests instead of the host. Hosts are unresponsive at least for a week!

Unresponsive and irresponsible service

jarlantern on

Singapore

Unresponsive apps and unfair cancel policy.
