How much does Drum Beats cost?
Drum Beats has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is $16.89.
You will notice most of the good reviews are many years old. Install app. Buy full version. Come back later and mysteriously app is ‘updated’ and locked away beats are needed to be purchased again. ‘Restore purchases’ option is not applicable. App owner is a POS and milking it based on some good five year old reviews. I’ve paid and I am deleting.
I don't have an Airturn
This app would be far more useful if external midi control was not locked to using an Airturn. I use a very powerful midi foot controller which I use with a Bluetooth midi adapter. I can't use it with this app, which makes the app next to useless for me
Amazing
I have been using this app to improve my guitar timing
Great app
Use this drum beats all the time excellent
Expensive
Thought this app would have all the beats I needed with the first purchase. Beware the in app purchases. These are the best beats and very expensive. I didn’t go any further than the first purchase, felt I had been duped. Outrageous life time purchase cost. Yuck.
Enjoy
I am enjoying trying to play along to some of these beats, my only complaint is that to save beats I had to upgrade to pro even after paying for the app
I love it
I practice my bass to these all the time.
I hope they add some more soon.
Review
It’s a great app perfect for playing and practicing too I think a visual cue could be an improvement to a near perfect job
Good metronome, but pricey
I bought this app ($7.99). It has a small number of included beats, which are good. The App Store says packs of beats can be purchased at additional cost (remember, already paid $7.99!). But when you go to the shop page you can’t purchase any packs. Instead, you can pay for a monthly/yearly/forever subscription. This despite advertising the ability to purchase packs. I get subscribing to a magazine, or maybe a music or video stream...but a metronome?? I did request app support asking how to purchase best packs, as advertised, but didn’t get a reply. So, is the app worth $7.99? I’m struggling to say yes. It’s a good app, just expensive when you have to buy additional packs of beats...oh wait, you can’t buy them, they want you to $$subscribe.
