Currently this app controls Dual's Head unit products via Bluetooth.This app controls most of the primary functions of your marine stereo features including:
[NOTE : For some models, the Dual iPlug app operates just as a remote controller. ]
- Mode change : Radio, USB, Bluetooth, iPod, Aux in
- Radio : FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2 and 7-channel Weather band. Seek/Tune
frequencies, Access the preset stations, Store the radio stations etc.
- USB input : Playback the music from USB connected to the source unit.
Search the songs in music list, ID3 display (Song Title, Artist, Album),
Track Up / Down, Play / Pause
- Bluetooth : Music streaming, Play / Pause, Track Up / Down, ID3 tag display
(Song Title, Artist, Album)
- iPod/iPhone/iPad control : Playback the music from iPod/iPhone/iPad connected
to the source unit via USB port, Play / Pause, Track Up / Down, ID3 Tag Display
- Auxiliary input - Audio control
- Zone speaker control (Zone 1, 2, 3)
- Preset EQ curves (Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Beat, Flat, User)
- Band tone control (Bass/Mid/Treble)

Not happy

App will not connect.

Worthless just like there head units

Just like the head unit Dual is a horrible company that cares not for there customers nor customer service I knew better than to buy a budget head unit or a Dual head unit for that matter but the silence in my truck was killing me. As far as the app I never got out of the device connecting loading screen. Maybe cuz there last update for this app was 4 yrs ago and I have a iPhone 13 Pro. Needless to say this is getting deleted and the head unit returned and I’ll just wait to spend the extra money on a good head unit or anything that’s not Dual

It keeps buffering

It’s cool to have a easy remote but push One button and the whole App starts loading all over again and it doesn’t stop

Read a lot of reviews but here’s decent one.

I had luck It worked for me I have iPhone 6plus n I have no good luck only bad 99% but 1st use the Bluetooth, 2nd when you try to connect the ride up turns off you have to turn it back on n it connects or it will load forever... so far seems good I’ll leave updated review after week or two. But I’m glad I can listen To my music through Bluetooth n not Aux... now the bad is something is up with the cam I have to go over the wires might be the camera it’s self that’s broke. But nothin major for me... for the price it works hope you all the best!!!

Worst app ever

I’ve tried many of times of downloading it on different devices but the app is so buggy it boots up to “Connecting Device” and stays like that.

Needs work lot’s of work

I’ve tried everything in the world to get this app just connected but it never does. Bluetooth connects instantly to iPhone but app never works. Updated phone and app, no go. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing. Needs LOTS of work

This won’t connect to my radio anymore. I tried reinstalling it and nothing happened

Terrible

The app is beyond basic it’s literally just one screen/a radio remote that you can basically do on the radio and the app refuses to connect after being able to connect only once.

I can read fine and have a compatible stereo and the app does nothing but try to load and never actually loads. Just because it worked for you doesn’t mean people can’t read, the manual with the stereo says it’s compatible
