Dublin Live FAQ
Is Dublin Live free?
Yes, Dublin Live is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Dublin Live legit?
🤔 The Dublin Live app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
The app and it’s interface isn’t too bad, positioning of ads maybe could be improved. The comments section is dreadful as most of the articles can’t be commented on, only very few can be which doesn’t make much sense. In terms of the journalists, not sure how they got these jobs. The sentences are really poorly written and it’s very hard to make sense of most articles, most of the headlines are click bait, a lot of articles are nothing to do with Dublin either which I thought was the whole idea behind Dublin Live. Finally they post rubbish articles about irrelevant celebrities, the likes of Love Island etc, hardly much of a news app. Download at your own risk
Your app is private data hungry- illegitimate interest
Please add a “reject all” button so o can reject what I consider to be “illegitimate interest” uninstalling and will not use this app I too is stops unnecessarily stealing users data.
Joan
I would like to see a comment section, Dublin live is great for up to date news. I have one gripe, please stop using Mum or Mom, we are Irish and Mammy/ Mam were always used it’s drives me mad. Otherwise brilliant
Always very critical against Northside of Dublin
Anything bad happens on the Northside always reported as Dublin North which is fair enough. However anything happens on the Southside always reported as just “Dublin”
Icon notification badge bug.
There seems to be a bug that just appeared out of nowhere. The notification badge on the icon won’t clear away, currently at 14 and going up. Very annoying to see the badge there every time even if there is no notifications at all. Hope this gets fixed. Running lates iOS 14.4.1
Adverts
Can’t play any videos with out viewing long adverts first and then it still won’t play them after. Going to delete this app cos it’s really annoying no longer any good to catch up on news!!!
Good app
Yes this is a good app for getting the most current news around. The only negative is, please people comment more on what’s happening!
Avoid like the plague unless you love ads and lbeing depressed.
The Daily Sport of news apps. Pure click bait sensationalist negative tripe, bombarded with 90% advertising and 10% content, although I use the word “content” is a very broad context. Each “bad news” article repeats itself multiple times between endless scrolling of adverts to the point where the developer must think that everyone who is reading either has severe senile dementia and/or has recently had a badly performed back alley lobotomy. Also, all the content is depressingly negative.
Bad news app?
There are good news items too. The headlines here are depressing
Love Dublin live
Dublin live is the best for giving us all the updated news as we want it I love reading it every morning and evening during the day it keeps me up to all the news going on around Ireland thank you so much
