Dumb.com - Old Radio Shows

I first started using this app years ago. It was my favorite. Then it stopped working. I think the owner sold it. Then it didn’t work on Android. When I started using my iPhone, I found it at the App Store and downloaded it. It seemed to work fine. But, now after a few months, most of the shows do not play. Worse, the ones that do, keep repeating the beginnings over and over, never progressing. I reinstalled, but just the same. Too bad, coz now it’s the worst instead of the best.

I love this app it broke in an iOS update awhile ago and I almost deleted it but someone fixed it! Amazing variety of Old Time Radio helps with PTSD when going to sleep. Love the baseball games from the 30’s - 60’s and the golden era of radio comedies dramas and adventures. So many rare shows I can’t find anywhere else. Many thanks to the developers for repairing the app!

Does not work

The selection is great but the app has some serious flaws which make it useless. It’s been years and no changes.

This app has the best selection of OTR shows I've found, but the bugs in the app make them difficult, if not impossible, to enjoy. When I first downloaded this app years ago, it seemed to work well, but, for some reason, it seems to have got worse over time. The worst problem is that many of the recordings continuously skip back several seconds while they're playing, making them impossible to listen to. Additionally , the navigation is difficult; the controls at the top of the page don't even show up on my iPhone--just a blank white space. This would be my favorite OTR source if they could fix these bugs.

Best app for old time radio no doubt, two stars because it never loads, been like this for months now. Needs to be fixed.

I got rid of the app because it wouldn’t work anymore. Now I see it is working again, so I can give it 5 stars again. However, I see there are still problems with it, so back to 3 stars. Please fix the app so it works properly.

This app worked very well. After revised app versions and Apple updates it does not work properly. 1) When you pick the app it may or may not start. You have to try again and again until the app starts. 2) once app starts you can pick a show but it will not play…..ever. 3) sometimes it starts and keeps and keeps and keeps skipping ! 4) If all goes well and your listening to a show, you have no control over it FF , REW, Move slider. Please fix I love this app.

Just got the app and was looking forward to it. Takes forever to load and the show doesn’t play. Needs serious fixing!☹️

Make an updated version of this same app? This app is just too awesome to delete! If you only knew how much people like these shows! I’m not trying to be mean, just wanting my app to work!
