Dungeon Ward: Souls & Dragons

Offline RPG / Single Player

Published by: Frantisek Liska

Description

Dive into an action RPG where you fight enemies and explore dungeons. Ready to be a hero?

Dungeon Ward is an offline action RPG mixed with old-school grid-based dungeon crawler from a 3rd person perspective. The core is about real-time combat, looting, RPG character building, questing and boss fights.
Character building
It takes the best from the action RPG games (leveling up characters, items, stats, skill trees, city with shops, quests, bosses etc.) to the classic dungeon crawler setting.
Unique classes
Play as a mighty Warden, shapeshifting Ranger or elemental Mage. Invest talent points to learn new skills such as spell reflection, lightning arrow or werewolf transformation. Learn passive talents or just increase stats to create exactly the character build you like.
Procedural hand-made dungeons
Dungeon Ward features 3D procedural dungeons from hand-made parts with unique boss rooms, deadly traps, teleports and story quests.
Offline play
This RPG game can be completely played offline (without internet). Everything is possible to buy via ingame currencies which are obtainable also by playing.
Grid-based controls, 3rd person camera
The grid-based controls are similar to old-school dungeon crawler games from 90s. That means 90 degree turning, movement on a grid. It features not only button controls but also joystick.
Actively developed, Localized
Dungeon Ward is in active development by a czech solo developer. The game is localized to: English (EN), Czech (CZ), Slovak (SK), German (DE), Spanish (ES), Polish (PL), Italian (IT), Indonesian (ID), Brasilian Portuguese (PT BR) and French (FR). No wifi needed.

I love the game, but I think it would be nice if you could strafe or make movements more frequently.👍

Man I just lost all my progress

I’m not sure if this is just a function of the game but I see that there is a “hardcore mode”. I specifically decided not to select this mode as it says it’s permanent death. I got up about 15 levels and died and lost all my progress even tho I didn’t select hardcore mode. Is this just the way the game is??? Or a bug??? Still having fun tho I spent like 5 bucks and it’s a pretty cool game. Plz make an auto save mechanic, there’s so much they can do with this gameeee

I can’t tell you enough how much I’ve been looking for a game like this. I’m blown away at how simple and easy it is for a mobile game. This has scratched that itch. I’m in love and have only been playing for a day. I can’t wait to dive deeper as I progress. The fact this is a solo developer blows me away. I love what you’ve created. Idk how I’ve gone so long without finding this. You have made a permanent title that will always be downloaded on my device. Thank you for such an instant classic. I remember games like this from when I was a child and you have made this gamer ecstatic. Keep up the great work.

Good Old School RPG

As an oldschool AD&D player from the early 80’s, this game is a real treat of instant gratification that scratches that nostalgia itch. These are the types of games that bring back that enjoyment without having to dedicate months out of your life to enjoy a good adventure with all of the elements that make it fun and enjoyable. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! 😍😎

Good game and support

I have looked so long for a game that had no pressure to join some online community. This is a truly solo game, and it is everything I needed. Limited character options, and all three of those characters are white male. But the action is top notch. Really love the summoning spells on two of the three characters. I did run into a glitch that locked up the game, so I reached out to the designer. He posted a patch within 48 hours. That sold me even more. Hope he finds time to either add to this game or to create another in the same genre.

Awesomeness!

Excellent game! Super fun game play and I love the sounds too. I keep checking back for the next installment. Thank you, keep up the good work! I think the summoned pets should not have a time limit, and I would prefer the mage pet produced a corpse before detonating it so I could utilize the full life span and not commit homicide on my noble beast.

Great game and community!!!!

It’s a great solo game that you can play offline and has a pretty good amount of content. Developer is dedicated and devoted to his work, gets back to you in timely manner, always answers. Especially for being the sole developer, he’s always answering people on his discord as well. Great job!

Old school cool

No gacha, no complex and convoluted upgrade systems that have you chasing red dots like a cat chases a laser pointer. Intuitive movement and attacks that take me back to games like Eye of the Beholder. I didn’t have any trouble completing the initial run through in a couple days but I like the adjustable difficulty and it encourages you to immediately try a different character class. You advance at your own pace without daily logins and repetitive upgrade quests. It’s just a straight forward, no pressure, hack and slash. Play as long as you want for free but I paid for the double gold as a thanks for a fun experience.
