New App Update
Not a fan at all. It freezes all the time. Will not reload my app up since it was changed. Sorry but I really dislike this “upgrade” more headache then it’s worth

There's so many garbage layers of security on this app that are useless that it won't let me login. First it makes you enter your phone number to send a code. Then when you enter that it makes you enter your login and password. Then when that is in it STILL WON'T LET YOU USE THE APP! It said it had to email me a code. But never sent the email. I checked the spam folder--not there either. Quit wasting customers time. To make matters worse, we drove all the way to the Covina, CA location, which both their website and Google Maps say is open. But it isn't. There's plenty of other places to get coffee and even fresh pastries (unlike Dutch Bros pastries that are baked elsewhere and shipped in plastic). We'll be patronizing them.
Good app but needs to implement Face ID which should be pretty default by now for apps. Other than works well and is stable. That one missing feature holds me back from giving 5 stars.
I have been going to Dutch since early 2000’s shortly after they aired in undercover boss. I have always loved supporting local businesses and small franchises that have a good back story. We loved Dutch until they changed to using this app. Now all the points I had been saving I went to use only to find out they expired. Wow how can you go from not having the little cards that we can use whenever to putting a time stamp on when I can use what I saved up for. Not only did those points expire but you see my birthday ones were gone. I miss the family Dutch used to inspire and care for. Sadly today was the last straw. I continued to keep going just to support and good coffee. Over the years of going I am the only one in my family who drinks coffee but we would get non caffeinated drinks for others. I can’t count the times we ended up with caffeine in our drinks and today I had it. Simple drink coconut milk and white chocolate nothing else yet came home and bam espresso added again and my debit card was charged higher than the amount it cost. Yes it has been reported but our family will no longer support Dutch Brothers
I just used the new ordering feature on the app. Never again. You can’t order the same flavors of Dutch soda like Pink Flamingo, or add the drizzles, and then at check out it automatically applies a $2 tip. I caught it the first time I tried, but the app glitched and I had to try again. I still selected not to leave a $2 tip. It added the tip anyway, so now I’ve had to pay a $2 tip on my $3 order.
Love Dutch bros but the app never works. I’ve tried reinstalling it multiple times and it always gets stuck on the loading screen when I try to open it.
I’ve had the app for years. I’ve never had a problem till the upgrade about a month ago. It wouldn’t open, so I deleted the app, reinstalled it and it still won’t let me sign in. I’ve tried with and without WiFi, in different areas, even at Dutch Bros. We still go, but I would love to have access to the app. Please help me figure this out!!
The app was recently updated and works great! I used the order ahead feature which is new and it was very simple- I could make all the customizations I wanted and the (iced) drink was ready and waiting for me in the fridge when I arrived with my name on it.
Gem Berry is my FAVORITE and really the only thing I order. Tea, soda, rebel, lemonade. Please add it to the app so I can enjoy the new order ahead feature.
App used to work a lot better, once they updated the UI there was a considerable amount of lag navigating through menus. They also eliminated the lower “Charge Up” amounts so now you have to load at least $15 and they still haven’t added a method to only charge your card like the Starbucks app has.
