電子支票是香港的金融基建項目，提供了一個安全而方便的線上付款系統。建立在傳統支票的基礎上，電子支票能把電子商貿帶到一個新的層次。
電子支票存票服務採用了傳統支票投遞箱的概念，為銀行客戶提供一個收集電子支票的平台。收票人需預先在電子支票存票服務中登記，便可在系統上存入電子支票。
在存票過程中收票人可從預先登記的銀行戶口中選擇存款戶口，款項會在結算成功後兌現，系統會以電郵通知收票人。
電子支票存票服務現時支援港幣 (HKD)，人民幣 (RMB)，以及美元 (USD) 的支票。
