E-life Explorer FAQ
Is E-life Explorer free?
Yes, E-life Explorer is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is E-life Explorer legit?
⚠️ The E-life Explorer app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Will return the unit to Amazon and will be happy to delete the app from my phone. App does not work, unit is a paperweight with a click on it. Nice premise, but no functionality whatsoever. No sustained connectivity, app is useless and the buttons on the unit decide when and how they will function. Apple forces me to give at least one star, if I could I wouldn’t even give it that.
Had trouble maintaining a connection
This app needs a serious overhaul. It struggles to maintain a Bluetooth connection and continually forgets its’ association between my phone and the alarm clock - overnight and after a day’s duration. It’s a pain to navigate through and not a user friendly app to content with in general. Developers need to modernize the UI and also address the Bluetooth connection issues that plague this app and make it unusable.
Hijacked My Bluetooth
Somehow a phone call from UPS came in and disconnected the Bluetooth although my calls from unknown callers were blocked. I think local hackers invaded via Bluetooth and took over the port. I have consistent trouble with Bluetooth Hackers on other devices as well. The blue light Bluetooth indicator on the unit isn’t lit, anymore. The reset button is not working. The sound system was amazing before the hackers took the Bluetooth connection. We cannot even use the top button to turn the unit off now that the Bluetooth Hackers took over the machine. They disabled our connection. The machine is locked. We think all the Bluetooth problems are from the local hackers otherwise we think the E-Life APP is a hack into Bluetooth.
Needs many bug fixes
It barely works, and app constantly disconnects from unit via Bluetooth and always needs to be re-setup from scratch to reconnect. App also needs the ability to show/preview on the app screen what light color or action setting is happening on the physical unit. Likely needs both firmware and software upgrades for resolving stability and connectivity issues.
The worst app ever
Connected the first time & has never worked since! Doesn’t switch to the 12-hr format either!
Time doesn’t work
My time is stuck @ 24 hour and won’t switch to 12 hour ! What Shame because all the other features are so nice !
Time format doesn’t work!!!
Bought specifically bc I could change it to 12-hr format. Returned a different one bc it did not have the option and this is for a 5 year old. Welp guess what, it doesn’t work on the app. It doesn’t switch between 24-hr and 12-hr
Apps like these are why we should trust the chinese
Worst app I have ever used in my life, who made it? I know cavemen that could have done a better job. This is awful, dont use this app, it is just a waste of time and money (even for a free app).
Doesn’t Work
Connected once then it disconnected. Also no buttons work on the light
Works well when it manages to connect
When you first set up and sync the alarm and app, it works perfect. There are many options for lights and alarms, as well as sounds and setting up a speaker. However, I have found that every night, when I go to set the alarm, the app will not connect with the device. The Bluetooth option will not show up, no matter how long I wait or press the research button. I have found that the only way to get it to work again is to disconnect the light, delete the app, reconnect the light, and then redownload the app. This is an annoying and tedious routine to do every night in order to get the alarm to work.
