Great app for ear training.
Use frequently
Coming from a music student this app is extremely functional and awesome for quick and easy practicing with completely customizable quizzing and testing. I use it all the time while I commute to and from school. It has strengthened my listening! Great for music theory practice testing, I’ve been acing all my listening tests.
It is a very good ear training exercise. Don’t get me wrong, but I’m having a hard time with this. This app definitely helped me to recognise certain chords and intervals, but now, I’m stuck with this interval and melody exercise and it drives me crazy. I just wanna smash my phone against the wall. Guess it’s just a process and I have to keep doing it.
Easy to use and very helpful. Very useful and thorough exercises. Very thorough range of ear training topics. Years worth of practice in one app!
It is what you need
This is a very practical app that helps with ear training during long sessions or those little moments between tasks. The piano sound is decent and you get to view intervals in a keyboard or staff to identify your weak spots. Highly recommended.
earz ar deezed bruh
A great method, could maybe be a little more extensive, but definitely effective.
This app needs improvement. You can't customize the exercises so if you want to listen to triad inversions PLUS dominant inversions, well you can't. You take what they give you and it's one or the other. During interval listening, they give you only 6 choices out of however many possible answers there are. Why not just give us all the options? Also I wanted to listen to 9th and 11th chords, but I guess we can only hear basic triads and six/seventh chords. Hundreds of exercises and they're pretty much all the same. Oh and the statistics feature is underwhelming too as it only keeps track of your last result, so unfortunately you can't see a history of improvement over time. The sound clips are great though and with a bit of work this app could be amazing, but for 7$ I expected more.
