Earth Hero: Climate Change

This app is really helpful. You can browse through options of changes you can make in your every day life to contribute to mitigating climate change. No judgement, just helpful tailored information and tips 🙂

I could not recommend this app more - you can earn points by completing climate related tasks, learning SO much about climate change, your emissions, waste etc. It gave me access to environmental groups in my area, taught me about sustainable investing, and endless more things! I have made all my friends and family check it out - you should too!

A great educational tool. The app challenges you to make lots of small steps in decreasing your personal carbon footprint. I have found it fun, educational and have make a lot of progress reducing my emissions with more to come 😊

I really like the concept but there needs to be more actions. I’ve looked through the actions list so many times and can’t find any new ones.

Ever since downloading EarthHero, I’ve been absolutely captivated by the app. I’m an activist who is currently and actively working on an urban agriculture initiative within my community/city of 64,000+ and EarthHero has inspired me even more on action planning for my initiative. From the near limitless articles and the seemingly endless ‘Actions,’ this app has everything that someone could need when either creating change themselves or someone wanting to limit their personal emissions. I even wanted to add my own ‘Action’ to EarthHero (which they let you do by emailing them, they’ll consider it!) but my idea was too generalized which I agreed to their assessment. They instead asked me if I wanted to turn my idea into an article and I decided to do so. Amazing folks behind an amazing app! Thank you for reading this review and thank you to EarthHero and their team for creating and maintaining such an amazing app!

Used the app on and off for a couple years now and love all of the improvements. Great app ❤️

I downloaded Earth Hero a few weeks ago, and I must say so far I’m impressed. After taking a simple test and updating the app on climate actions I already do, it gave me a detailed bar chart with my emissions, recommended numerous lifestyle changes from food to travel, and has a newsletter to stay informed. The app is organized in levels you can climb up if you reduce emissions, and you can set reminders to make small lifestyle changes. Overall the app is designed well for someone to be able to reach their goals of climate lifestyle changes, and I highly recommended downloading it.

I’ve been monitoring my greenhouse gas emissions in Excel and keeping an action plan in my head (and forgetting). This app makes it much easier!

They have great tips that are super thorough. They also link so many orgs you can get involved in with a great summary of each org and links to each. Makes climate action feel approachable and not daunting.
