I use this for Christmas dinner, but it would be great if it let me do four things. 1/ Add a bit more time to an item when the timer is running but the cook hasn’t begun. 2/show the temperatures of all the items in a menu to see if there’s some way to share two meals in the same oven by altering times or shelves. Perhaps by colouring each item by temperature? Or just showing the temp and convection mode for each dish. 3/export to iCal the entire cook to remind you to visit the app 4/sync the meals to my iPads to free up the phone
The app is not easy to use. I was unable to determine how to properly enter menu items and times to plan my meal. I do not recommend this app.
No more burning the chicken while the potatoes finish cooking. This great little app takes all the guesswork out of preparing everything from a simple single pot recipe to a multiple course meal. And what really “put the icing on the cake“ is the prompt and thorough support the developer provides. As someone who loves to entertain, this has made my life so much easier and cooking so much more enjoyable.
Luckily a couple bucks, but a lot of trouble and steps you can’t sort or move in edit menus buried in sub menus and timers that look like steps and vice versa. You become more concerned with planning and organizing your menu than just getting the cooking going or making a paper list. For me, it had a learning curve and didn’t work for my purposes. Maybe that’s just not how I work in the kitchen. Will delete so it’s not another timer app weighing down my screen space.
Does everything it says it does and more. I have just two recommendations for improvements: - Share between devices and/or exporting feature. I’ve created a lot of meals that I would like to send to my wife. - Identifying a step as active or inactive time. For example, if I put something in the oven for :20, I can complete steps for other items while it’s cooking. This will then give a more accurate completion time for the entire meal. Those two items would easily make this a five star app for me.
Such a simple idea but very well executed. Have been waiting a long time for a cooking timer that tracks multiple dishes to a single fixed finish time. Thanks for making this app.
So far I'm impressed with the app. Loading it up with my usual items to cook and will give it a try for a couple wks. Will update my review if for some reason it starts performing badly but as of now it's perfect!
I love the idea of this app! I was sold with the description. After downloading and using it to create some recipes, the timers and alerts on my iPhone 6s and Apple Watch were incredibly useful! But I found some room for improvement. A sync or share function would allow me to create recipes on my iPad and send it to my iPhone. A pause function would also be useful in case something takes longer to cook.
Well-made app for coordinating the timing of many dishes to a single "ready to serve" target time. Supports multiple stages of each food's process, allows saving of repeat performances. Don't skip the tutorial, very helpful to orientation.
