Eat Sleep: Simple Baby Tracking

Description

Eat Sleep is the simplest way to track your baby’s eating, sleeping, and diaper habits. It’s designed so you don’t have to mess with timers, alarms, or typing. All the important stuff can be entered with a one-finger tap. View all eat/sleep/diaper events for each day, or view the combined history of any individual activity. As you continue using the app, you’ll be able to view trends from day to day, week to week, or month to month.
Unlike some apps, Eat Sleep isn’t overflowing with features you may not need. A real, working, first-time mom helped design the app so it’s simple and easy to use. Eat Sleep tracks the information your baby’s physician cares about most without being needlessly complicated.
Eat Sleep also includes a simple note-taking feature which allows you to track special events or routines. You can also now track multiple children.
FEATURES:
Eat – Track how long your baby was breastfed and which side. You can also track the amount of formula or pumped breast milk your baby consumed.
Sleep – Simple options and no calendars to mess with. Select when your baby finished sleeping and approximately how long—the app does the rest! Intuitive menus help jog your memory and let you enter blocks of time quickly.
Diaper – Keep tabs on diaper changes and whether diapers were wet, dirty or both. This is especially important for breastfeeding moms who need to know if their baby is eating enough!
BabySync - A paid feature that allows you to back up, share, and collaborate on your child with others!

Eat Sleep is free but does contains ads. You can simply remove these ads while also supporting the makers of this app through an in-app purchase on the settings screen.

Eat Sleep Reviews

Very useful, especially for reminding which side did you nursed last time

drrrela on

Denmark

I only wish it'd tell you the average time between nursings, it'd be interesting.

Simpel og god

Fungerer godt. Man kan nemt holde styr på sovevaner, hvilket bryst man sidst brugte osv

Almost perfect

Ilane Alves on

Denmark

Undoubtedly a great app. To reach perfection it needs to have a 'just started nursing' as sometimes it's hard to remember what time the feeding started or for how long time it has been going on. Right now it's difficult to put the correct time because 1) only 5/10 etc are available, so if the feeding started, for instance, at 12:13, you'll either have to put 12:10 or 12:15; 2) if the clock is marking 12:16 and you started at 12:15, you'll have to wait until it turns 12:20, so 12:15 will be shown. These two things might sound silly, but when it's late and you are tired, you can easily lost track of time and/or forget when the nursing began. Other than that, great job.

Not proper metric

Lauges mor on

Denmark

The idea behind the app is very good. I have a couple of remarks though. - a bit annoying to go through two steps to choose time. Why not do it the way most apps do? - when using the metric system for milk quantity the ounce is converted. Annoying not to be able to choose 30 - 35 - 40 ml but 30 - 37,5 - 45 ml For newborns 5 ml interval is nice (from 0 to 100), but after 100 the interval could be 10 or 20 ml

Very usefull app

Motherjules on

Denmark

This is a very usefull app for keeping track of especially your baby's nursing. There arr only two things that I would suggest changed: 1) when typing in eating or sleeping the app creates two entries: one when the activity started and one when it finished. It would be easier to read of you collected it into a single entry. 2) given that all durations are round to the nearest 5 minuts, I would like to have an option where the starting and finishing times also are rounded to the nearest 5 minuts.

Excellent!

Def best app for keeping track of my baby, so simple to use! Only hiccup is the formula setting, which doesn't write say 120 ml but another confusing amount...

Time is wrong on the app sometimes

Lisa.Wenthen on

Sometimes when I click just fell asleep or just woke up the time is incorrect. Not sure why this is and there is no way to set the clock on this app.

Made schedule tracking worse - not better

I’m pretty sure this app is no longer active, yet they continue to take payment. The app boasts that it is free, yet charges to sync your phone with your spouse, and also to get rid of ads. I paid for both yet the data never loaded for my spouses app and the ads never stopped. We emailed twice to the account listed for help and never heard back. Also, the view is very simple, but is weirdly limited in how it operates. For example - if you forgot to put in a time (ie when baby started to sleep) and try to go back in and do it after the fact, it doesn’t always show an option for the correct time and you cannot add it manually. It also makes you do the math yourself on how long naps were before inputting. What’s the point of automating of you have to do that? There are much better options out there than this.

Great app

I love this app it’s simple and easy to use. The feature that I need updated is for the breastfeeding. We only have an option for left or right per feeding it will nice to have both per feeding because some babies like mine feeds 5 to 10 minutes both sides.

Overall great app

Only thing is I wish there would be a “start nursing” instead of just the number dial. But other than that it’s been very helpful!
