Ebook Reader

Bought a well known Penguin title. As the UI turns out to be a mess for that book (at least on iPad) I find that I wasted mij money on that. A good thing is that the app comes with a number of valuable free books for which the UI seems to work properly.

How do I put the book I’m currently reading at the top of the bookcase? For some reason that position is being permanently taken up by a book that I’ve finished months ago!

The book is useful but the app is appalling; no possibility to jump to sections / chapters from the index and the page numbers don’t correspond with the index numbers either. A huge time waster; purchasing the e-book was a big mistake. You’re probably better off getting the hard copy. I’d have expected more from a such a recognised institution. These problems are only here on the phone app. The other major problem with this digital edition is that you cannot save the pages as PDFs which defeats the purpose if you want to use these games in class. I’ve never encountered this type of problem with the regular Acrobat reader.

Erg prettig om mee te werken.

The ui is terrible and out-of-date! It all seems to work sort of fine but over al not an enjoyable experience. The app doesn’t work great for the iphone xs max and buttons are placed very inefficiently.

Het boek wat ik op dit moment lees, komt niet automatisch op het bovenste schap te staan. Het staat gewoon tussen de andere boeken in. Misschien doe ik iets niet goed, maar krijg het uitgelezen boek niet weg van dat schapje.

Would be be nice if you could sort your books into categories and have only the title be shown. It is a bit too cluttered for my taste.

Overzichtelijk en makkelijk in gebruik. Eenvoudig om blz naar eigen inziens in te richten.
