Description

The Eco-Note App is the mobile extension of your cloud-based Eco-Note account and enables your workforce’s iOS devices to become the primary tool for gathering and entering data about large commercial landscapes under your firm’s management. Eco-Note is used by professional water managers, water conservation specialists, large landscape maintenance firms, municipalities, consulting arborists, and tree maintenance firms to manage various large landscape resources. Eco-Note provides all of the features and benefits of the Arbor-Note App (available on the Apple App store), with added features for irrigation water management and landscape area measurement.
Use your iOS mobile device to:
• Record water meter readings while in the field and receive instant irrigation system adjustment recommendations to keep water consumption within the local water district’s water budget
• Perform all of the tree inventory features available in the Arbor-Note App
• “Tap and map” any landscape asset location points from your car or office
• “Drop” GPS based points at any landscape asset locations as you work in the field
• “Throw” GPS based points to any landscape asset location while in the field and without having to scale slopes or fences
• Take any number of pictures of any landscape asset and assign to the asset’s unique ID
• Create GPS based area measurements by “Tapping and Mapping” area perimeters, or by walking area perimeters and “Dropping” GPS based points along the way
• View any documents which have been uploaded and associated to a particular project
Once your landscape data has been uploaded to the Eco-Note cloud, and using the Eco-Note desktop app you are able to:
• View irrigation water consumption actual vs. budget by individual water meter
• View, and edit landscape asset location and attributes
• Map additional landscape assets
• View, track and update landscape asset maintenance history
• Export your asset inventory as a Shapefile or Excel file
• Upload any important documents associated with your customer and/or landscape maintenance project so that they may be viewed in the field via the Eco-Note mobile app
• Share your valuable work via URL with anyone you like
Important: Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease the battery life of your iOS mobile device. For large extended use of the Eco-Note app in the field, an external battery pack for your mobile device may be useful.
