The app doesn’t just give adult daters what they want, which is to simply be able to filter profiles by criteria (like location, physical characteristics, and hobbies) to select who to date. Instead, it makes the whole process a tedious drudge through being forced to play some lottery game everyday to find people around you. Except, that includes a lot of profiles outside of your area that you can’t meet in real life, and a lot of profiles of people that you don’t find attractive, so it’s a waste of time. Let alone, playing games is not what adults do if they are seeking a serious relationship. The whole lottery game thing is so lame. Lastly, you get fake profiles often from trolls who don’t behave like normal people. Like if you ask them a question, which normal people would answer, they’d just try to ask you a question without answering yours to try to take control of the conversation and sell you some products by asking you to exchange contact information to go off the platform. There are ways to prevent troll accounts, but this service is either endorsing them as an act of discrimination against certain users that they unleash troll accounts on to prevent from having good service, or don’t have the competence to put a proper filtering system in place to prevent troll accounts. Like accounts with repeated stock bio descriptions or accounts with no or short bio/description, which can be easily filtered out, among other filtering approaches.

I am constantly receiving emails that I have a profile that has been set up with my email address. I cannot find any way to connect with someone to investigate this as I never set up this account. I have to tried the ‘forgot password’ option with no success. This screams of fraud to me.

Most times I never see women close to me all are Edmonton or Calgary or bc. I’m not interested in driving two hrs for a coffee break. And your fees are too expensive for what the service provides

I forgot my password so I submitted my email address to have a link emailed to me to reset my password. I get the email and I hit the reset password button and it sends me to the login window where I have to put in my email and password, or I can select the link that says “forgot password” which then sends me to a screen that asks for my email address so they can send me a link to reset my password. And it just goes back into the same loop. At no point do you get to reset your password. After many, many tries I eventually got the password reset. Entered all the necessary information into my profile. Looked at the matches created and decided to just keep looking. Then the next day I see that others have viewed and liked my profile. When I tried to see who liked me, I find out I have to upgrade to the premium account, which is more expensive than I care to spend so I just deleted my account. Wasted a lot of time and effort to get into my account for nothing.

eDate states (in fine print) that they do not perform background checks on members. On several occasions, I have found identical photos representing two different profiles.

Never or always hard to stay on site have to back out and reset and people as in women not I no the same area or ages ! We pay for this won’t download what a joke I want my money back. Site will not download how come ?? Same day ! Becareful!!!! If I can’t download I expect my money back!

I’m unsure how this really works. I’ve had it for a year and when I first started, it was fantastic. I ended up coming out of premium and going to basic and I was still able to lease to answer some of the calls that people would send me. Now I can’t even do that so nothing free, which is normal so I’m very disappointed, same thing with the last young lady. I picked it within 25 to 50 miles and I’m getting people from out of State out of the country. It was fine when I started, but it’s seems to go downhill after you been on here too long.
