I dread having to try and use this app every year - it just doesn’t offer the required functionality it needs to, unfortunately. The list is long; no filtered search function, No Apple Pay, no calendar view that shows your clashes. The planner view doesn’t even let you click through to the event details. And who thought it would be good to totally freeze the app if you have intermittent signal? Please let us at least view our booked tickets offline. It feels like the developers haven’t really tried to use the app themselves. Avoid this app entirely until the developers get it right (look at the Glastonbury app for inspiration). Year on year a real let down for such a great festival 🏴
Really difficult to filter by show times.
This app was completely useless at the event - didn’t link locations and times of events at all, made navigating and going to events impossible. Why give venues reference numbers which then can’t be searched for on the map??
The basic concept here is sound. But there are so many ways this app could be much much more useful. Although there are many ways to filter shows, sorting is beyond me. It keeps dropping connection when my other apps remain connected. The map... Need I say more? The ability to find venues by number seems to be either unfriendly (meaning I couldn't get it) or dysfunctional (meaning nobody could get it). The shame is this app could be so good.
On my iPhone and iPad my login isn’t recognised, but the very same username and password works fine on my Windows laptop. Has been that way throughout August.
An absolute awful app, the searching is slow, the payment via Apple Pay doesn’t work. Jus general poor responsiveness. Adding a performance to you planner for some reason always adds the day before, the Edfringe need to sack off these developers and get some that actually perform some quality control. This is such a shame for the artist who rely on the organisers being organised! UPDATE 21/8: I have just received the latest update… what are you developers doing..? How about fix the basic of things like the planner! I purchase a ticket for the Saturday and it shows up in my planner on the Friday! Seriously guys come’on and fix the PLANNER!
Very useful app. Would be great if there was a way to link to your friends’ accounts so you can coordinate going to shows together
5 days left and it’s showing as a year to go - with no access to anything!
This app only narrowly beats using the website for buying tickets. The most useful thing it does is to let you add shows to the planner before you’ve decided if you want to buy tickets. But this feature is hidden behind the ‘dates’ tab on an event. Your tickets and saved shows are listed in the planner, but you can’t get back to the show description and details from there, and so you have to manually search for it if you want to go back to it. The search function is less powerful than the website’s search (which lets you search by genre AND category). The app continually interrupts you with a pop up to tell you you’re off-line and then another one to tell you’re back online — even when you’re online. Apple Pay is broken, but it won’t use card details I’ve stored in my phone either. I’ve had to manually enter card details each time I’ve bought tickets. Why did they go all the way to Australia to find people to build an app this bad
