The Edsby app has many of the capabilities of the main Edsby web browser interface. Some complex features for certain types of users, such as the Edsby gradebook used by teachers, aren't available on devices with small screen sizes.

I’m in grade four and this has helped me track my progress and grades
Needs polish
Chronological dates sort to the original date of creation for chats and posts… but if a teacher reaches out months later it flags but is buried as the sort will do nothing. Better categorization would be nice for alerts to allow for better filtering. At the moment the river of notifications are pretty much either On or Off with no compromise.

Why can’t we see are old Classrooms as a student I wanna look back at my friends who moved and I don’t have contact with..
Extremely Buggy, Inconsistent and broken UI and UX
It’s mildly infuriating that this app is now the standard for all lot of schools and we have to put up with all of it’s problems. Speaking of problems, here’s one of them: the app will forget to update an assignment in your feed as “submitted,” so it persistently appears as not handed in.
I would rather shove my head into a blender than use this app.
This app is so flipping stinky. Every time I use it I cry so hard my tear ducts become dryer than the Sahara desert. Help me. Whoever made this app I would like to speak to your mommy, you need new crayons. - sad person

This app makes me feel womp womp :(
Unreliable
Constantly stops working where it won’t even open anything but a white screen.
Unnecessarily complicated
I was really disappointed that our school division decided to insist on all correspondence and marking go through the Edsby App. It is made to be unnecessarily complicated by needing to click on multiple links to get to the same info and make the alerts disappear. The report card function is difficult to read and the app does not allow you to change the orientation of your phone to look at it in a landscape view. I much prefer typical emails where I can flag them when there is something important I need to deal with, or even the ability to just delete old messages that no longer serve a purpose. By having so many sections to look at, you end up missing things as you can’t keep track of every spot. I am not against technology, but this app was not an appropriate option in it’s current state. I really hope the developers will take into consideration parents’ views when making adjustments.
