Description

Napoleon’s eFIRE app will revolutionize the way you use your fireplace. The first fireplace to be controlled by Bluetooth, using an app on your smartphone. As soon as you launch the app, it’s startlingly easy to use. The intuitive interface knows just what you want, and with easy toggle sliders you can control everything on your fireplace from the flame height, blower to LED lights.
Imagine having total control of a room’s ambiance with just a couple of gestures. Full mastery of your ember bed allows you to create every imaginable color, selecting the one that fits the mood, or the décor with ease, the simple color wheel tool swiftly scrolls through the colors. Or set the mood with one touch. Ember Bed Mode instantly creates ambiance with the look of a banked fire, softly glowing. Get the atmosphere without the heat, you can even cycle through, and set the color without the fire even being on.
Additionally the Napoleon’s eFIRE app has all of the same functions as a traditional fireplace remote; by controlling ON/OFF, flame height and blower speed. Now you can personalize the experience with your smartphone by controlling the following options
- Flame height
- Blower speed (if equipped)
- 24hr Auto OFF timer
- LED Multi color Lights providing over 16,000,000 different colors
- LED color wheel to pick any color
- LED cycle mode to cycle between the most vibrant Red, green and blue colors
- LED Emberbed mode which best represents a real burning Ember bed
- Quick access to multiple fireplaces equipped with Napoleon Bluetooth
- Accent Night Light control
- Split flow valve control
- Auxiliary Contact control
- Continuous pilot control
7 Day on demand pilot feature that will automatically turn off the main burner and keep the pilot active if there is no activity from the controller for 24hrs. The pilot will remain active for 7 days then turn off if there is no activity from the user or no call for heat. This new feature will help save fuel consumption and save on operational costs.
The New Auxiliary Contact Control feature on the app lets the user know if the Fireplace is being controlled by another device. For safety reasons the fireplace can only be controlled by 1 device at a time and the remote that comes with the fireplace will have priority over the Bluetooth control.

Temp control where are you

In the app you can’t control the temperature but with the remote control you can. It seems to be a bit of an oversight. Overall app could do with a UI update.

Doesn’t work AT ALL!!!

Honestly, this app does not connect to the fireplace via Bluetooth! I’ve done all kinds of troubleshooting trying to make this work and it just doesn’t. It is an absolute waste of time and VERY FRUSTRATING. If your looking for reliable connectivity via an app controlled fireplace look elsewhere.

Won’t connect

Bought an Altitude x 36 that was supposed to have eFire control. The app has never been able to find and connect to the fireplace. Big dud.

Bluetooth fails frequently

Elmoze on

App continuously looses fireplace connect ability, even when remote not being used. Primarily used app, and only used remote when app won’t connect. Now that app can never connect to fireplace, can only use remote. Tried reinstalling app, rebooting phone, taking batteries out of remote, and nothing allows app to locate fireplace.

Excellent functionality no ability to reconnect

Dougo68 on

Functionality is amazing. Problem is once the factory remote is touched it locks you out from ever using to app again. Requires dealer technition service call to reset. Unbelievable inconvenient and poor planning. Using only one remote at a time for safety makes sense, no ability for consumers to switch between that one controller renders the app useless. You are forced to choose one phone or the remote, no ability to switch without dealer technition service call.

This app has never worked with our fireplace, it simply doesn’t see it!

We can not even use our fireplace. The app is useless! When will there be updates for this app?

This app will not work

Goof tooth on

I have connected to the fireplace. Everything shows it’s connected but it will. Or control anything. It’s just a dumb toy. What a joke.

Useless app

Downloaded the app, found the fireplace, put in the default password (0000), nothing happens. I have deleted and reloaded this app several times and get the same result. Useless!

Horrible app

Where is Napoleon with fixes for this unusable app? Fireplace will not find my phone and there appears to be no way to re-sync the two. I can’t believe Napoleon Fireplace Co. is just unresponsive to these issues. Can’t use the light functionality at all without the app. What a waste!
