I see people complain about some feature they want is missing- but let’s look at the fact this is a FREE app where they host your data and don’t charge you a penny for the hosting or the app!
Personally I like the power diagram it shows a lot, so does my family. Even the non technical people can appreciate that it shows L1 and L2 usage once they understand the inverter can trip if one side is overloaded.
Seeing how much solar power you’re getting vs how much you’re using is super helpful! “Is now a good time to run the dishwasher?” Is easily answered by looking at this: “plenty of battery and solar panels are rocking? Go for it.”
And recently it seems like the app updates a lot more frequently. Used to be like every 15 minutes- still useful but not great. Now it seems like they’ve bumped it up and it updates pretty fast. We love it! Thank you guys!
Would it be nice to set notification triggers to do stuff- send a message, execute some API? Of course it would but people need to judge an app by how well it does what it’s designed for- not what features they imagine are missing and other people should build for free.
Nice but major flaws. Needs simple improvements
The energy consumption is painstakingly difficult for the average user to read and most importantly, please for the love of all things good create a notifications system that you can set yourself so you can get a notification when your batteries drop to x percentage. Would be INCREDIBLYY helpful to get a notification informing me that my batteries have say dropped below 40%, 30%, etc.
Good little app needs a few tweaks.
Can we get a few tweaks? The low battery notification red dot on the app icon doesn’t clear until I reset my whole phone. Very annoying. Can we get independent mppt output numbers as well? Thanks for an otherwise great app.
Need larger Font !
Can you guys make a numbers bigger and bolder. It’s really hard to see especially on smaller screen phones.
Great app!
The app isn’t perfect by any means but i am 100% satisfied with the functionality and the continuous updates.
Getting Better
Great app data and I go to it everyday. Like most the refresh cycle is lacking and I have to click off or change the inverter to get a more immediate refresh. Also, I wish they would add the import measurement like you can see on the web II, to see your power import/export offset. Otherwise I’m happy with it
Getting better, but could use a few more features
The app is getting better at refreshing which is the biggest complaint of most users. In the recent update they removed the pull down on Home Screen to refresh, that’s was a mistake. It’s not easy to press the small icon when on the go. One feature I would love if the developer would add is notifications to the app for letting me know when the power from grid has gone down or some major change in the system. I like that the webpage shows voltage available when the grid is up, I’ve had to rely on that when away from my system to check if their is grid power. I would also like the SOC and voltage to be in a larger font, as I mentioned seeing information on the go is a plus.
Update, and an additional star in my book. App developers, in the last update, have managed to add the key features I was hoping for. 1) onscreen grid information, like the webpage monitor. 2) a notification when the battery SOC drops below any set threshold. And it works, most of the time 3) a notification selection for grid outage, that DOESN’T work EVER. But I do appreciate them improving things. Please fix the outage notifications, if possible. Thanks
Good but could be great
A widget would be AMAZING. Also, there’s not a ton of adjustability when it comes to charging a battery. I am having to use a Victron controller to set my charge parameters. The settings are basic but still complex and not the most user friendly. Honestly just take some pages from the Victron app and copy. Love the inverter though.
Needs bigger font size
App works good. Would like to see a larger font size used. Have to use magnifying glass to see voltage level. Also would like to see individual solar panel string wattage values.
Widget Please!!!
Great app really wish we could get a widget for it!!
